Mr Toad
After seeing Jol sub (argubly) the best player on the pitch last night and the reaction from the Spuds. I thought Jol's days were numbered. But then Defoes replacement Keane set up the opener and big Martin was singing his own praises. So my question (dicussion point) is who will be the 1st to go, Jol or defoe? Sorry if you're bored of the Jol topic, just thought last night put another spin on it... StevO
i dont think either will go to be honest, not till at least the end of the season.
MikeO
Jol....no question for me. They couldn't offload Defoe before the transfer window and I think Jol will be gone well before then.
SimonButtle
yeh, jol will be gone by crimbo me thinks.
Romey 1878
Jol will go before Defoe for me too.
Bill
Jol wont go yet, even if he does Spurs will finish ahead of us, they are a good side who are just going through a sticky period. Top five for them. Theres probably only two maybe three of our players would get into their Squad.. Arteta, Lescott, and maybe Baines could replace Bale, but it would'nt be a certainty. Luq101
Jol will, although I would love to see Defoe at Everton, replacing a home sick Johnson!

Mr Toad
I still think its interesting how this one ends up. As i see it the following is possible but not so likely: * Big Phil (Portugal) will be replaced for his 4 game ban by Jose temporary. Which takes us to Jan/Feb? * Jose will take over at Spurs * Jol will replace Marco VB at Holland * MVB will go to Chelski * Grant will be spotted at the job centre around late Jan, early Feb. But if the following does happen then it takes us past (or near) the transfer window so will Jol's last job be to get rid of Defoe or can he hold on until Jose is in? Or is it far too early on a Monday morning to be spouting this garbage?
MikeO
Spurs 3-1 down at home at half time (again!) to Villa. Unless they do something spectacular second half I reckon Jol could be gone as soon as tomorrow. Be laughing, if it wasn't for the fact that Villa will go above us . Romey 1878
I'm not laughing because I tipped a draw There'll be an announcement of him leaving by mutual consent in the next few days I'd say.

Calico
Aye. Appears Berbatov wasn't happy about it neither. Didn't have his Spurs shirt with him when he came off for half time apparently. Maybe he's been pulling a Drogba and Jol had just told him he was leaving? Romey 1878
Jol had actually left before the game but still took charge of the match.

aaron
Ramos is going to be the new boss, quite a big change in manager there, ramos is a quailty manager imo, might bring the flair out of the spuds now, which is bad news as i wanted them to go down. zequist
Was reading in the news today that Sevilla are upset with Spurs and accusing them of "treachery" in plucking Ramos away. The club President said, and I quote, "I can assure you that we at Sevilla will pour all of our energy and all of our force into making sure that Tottenham pay the consequences of this situation, a situation that they have illegitimately provoked." Does anyone know what that's all about? Did Tottenham possibly do something underhanded that's got his panties in a bunch, or is he just frustrated about losing his coach? The article only reported his comments, it didn't try to explain them.
aaron
the have meant to of "tapped" ramos up. Supposedly they went straight to ramos instead of asking sevilla if they could talk to ramos.
StevO
well every paper had been talking about Ramos going to Spurs since the summer. now dont believe everythin in the papers, but it seems this smoke had a fire under it for real. hope they throw the book at Spurs, even more so for how they treated Jol
