nak108
Hello evertonians, Watford fan in peace. We have taken Alessandro Pistone on trial and was wondering what type of player he is and wether he would be good for the championship? thanks, nak108
aaron
when fit and thats a big when he maybe a good player for you. He is injured alot of the time so i think it would be a massive risk taking him on.
thebluenose
hes a very experienced left back and has played in europe. i think when hes fit the championship will be a good league for him. but he is always injured.
Blue4Ever
You must be in real need for a defender if your manager has looked at Pistone. If he stays injury free for the rest of his career then maybe he could be an ok player but if I was you id hope your manager doesn't see much in him or he could cost your club thousands like ours when we payed him for years and he didnt play... Romey 1878
He's shit. You'll despise paying him a decent wage while he sits on the bench or treatment table.
Bill
Dont be so hard on Sandro, he'd be a massive player for Watford, depending on his fitness of course. But he is a class player to have in the Championship.

nak108
Thanks for your replys sounds like he could be good for us (if fit) and to the person who said we must be in desperate need of a defender if we are looking at Pistone, the reason is probably 'cos we only have one left back. Sandman
pistone will be good in the championship, was good when we finished 4th, but not really sure if he's up to the premiership, physically or technically. but he will be good in the championship, its just he is always injured. keep him fit, he'll be good for you. CraccerC
he's a versailte and decent player when fit...i preferred him to hibbo at rb
Louis
He played for the full Italy team once and was the under 21 captain so he obviously has had a lot of ability. I think he'd do well at Championship level.

Josh Berno
Pistone will be good for Watford probably if he stays fit. Dont like Hibbert tho dont think hes Everton material hes a player who would be class in the championship hes not good enough for the prem IMO. scouse
Pisto is a good player, as mentioned above he was a key defender for us when we finished fourth, he would make a good addition to the watford squad as long as he is on a pay as you play deal given his injury track record. His versatility is a key point given you only have one lb and he can play anywhere across the back.
CraccerC
Hibbert is alot better than him, I cannot belive you have said that what do you like so much about hibbert? he's a decent defender that is terrible with the ball and/or over the half way line. he's not that good a player
SimonButtle
don't often agree with you craccer but i do on this, pisto is a much better player, hibberts shit, i only saw the game on motd last night, and some of his positioning was just awful, he should have stopped vidic's goal for starters. pistones problem was just his fitness not his ability.
