Everton_Worshiper
Apparently we are looking at him as a replacement for Manny: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/g...ers/default.stm I would like to see him here but different player to Manny... Sandman
good player but very different to manny, at bolton he's thrived off kevin davies' knock downs, not sure how good he would be if there wasnt a big bloke to head it down to him. still, if we finally get yakubu suppose he would be good for 5 mil. Blue4Ever
He's a good player, a bit better on the ball than timmy but they are very similar, so I dont no if id want him or not, surely anyones better than nev and cars so why not. jamiemaher85
hmmm, bit to similar to cahill for my liking. he had a brilliant season in 2006 but hasn't really done much since then. wouldn;t mind him here but it would all depend on the price which will be inflated as its an english player, think 5m would be a fair price but we would probab;y have to bid close to
Blue4Ever
and he aint worth 8 IMO
Romey 1878
I'd be disappointed to sign Nolan tbh. Over weight and over rated.
KillaGTiR
i would rather keep are money then spend it on him.. wait 4 a player we really want no just some rush fill in
jamiemaher85
and he aint worth 8 IMO i don't think he's worth 8 either, but think thats the price he's go for
jmurph
i like nolan as a player but well to over rated and supports the RS...id rather keep timmy and sign in lucho
evertonfc92
Moyes is just looking for a mid now i dnt think he is bothered bwt who he gets! '' Desperate buying ''
RuffRob
There are two types of players out there for me - Those who are on par with what we have already go - i.e your Nolans etc. Who would push for a starting birth in the team and help keep competition among the starting line-ups. and there are those that you would look to go straight in to the team as starters that from day one will improve your team or add another dimention to your play. Palyers such as Lucho - that little bit of extra quality. Two ways to get these player - pay top dollar or hopefully get them young before the promise is realised (the holy grail of transfer dealings I would say). The question has to be can we afford to not bring another midfeilder in and wait for the next Manny to come along.
lilpyrokid951
i'd rather moyes saves his money right now than to make some rushed deal for someone we're unsure of. i'd say wait till january, see who's for sale and then buy a quality mid that we're more sure of. Sickboy
Just not sure about him, he decent player but as others have said, he is to similar to other players we already have. If we're spending on midfielders we need flare.

Noel Edmonds
Poor man's Cahill Wouldnt get near our fully fit starting eleven
GoldfishMemory
Don't jump on me for this lads cos it is just word of mouth but apparently Nolan was drinking in the Metro Bar last weekend and told a lad I work with he's deffo on his way out of Bolton. His exact words were "you just know when a club doesnt want you anymore and Bolton (Lil Sam) dont want me"! When asked if he was joining Everton he said "theres been no talk of any club I just know they're gona sell me".
Bill
Poor man's CahillWouldnt get near our fully fit starting eleven No deal Noel, i'd put Nolan in ahead of Carsley, Osman, Mcfaddy, and maybe ahead of Neville in Midfield too, He's a very underated player. Would deffo improve the Squad.

He lives in Liverpool and is assistant manager of a football team called Nicosia who play in the Business House League, a lot of his family are also involved. He was born in Liverpool and supported the Red S. as a kid. But i'd still like him here.
Romey 1878
http://www.clubcall.com/everton/newcastle-ace-linked-with-goodison-switch-1114823.html What a perfect replacement for Pienaar he'd be - so comfortable on the wing and creative as fuck to boot. Yeah i agree, he would be a good squad player if we needed any midfielders, but he will never be an adequate replacement for Pienaar. Romey 1878
Bill, I was being sarcastic, he'd be a shite replacement for Pienaar .
Bill
Bill, I was being sarcastic, he'd be a shite replacement for Pienaar . Yeah i know Mark and i agreed with you. Its why i put this .... " he will never be an adequate replacement for Pienaar". Should have put my post down in reverse order. "but he would be a good squad player if we needed any midfielders". My bad Grammar. :Grammar Police:
