Louis
Im torn between this and PES 2008. I have an xbox 360 - I like to have fully licensed game but the fifa style of play/graphics don't appeal to me. Saying that I thought Uefa champions league was an excellent game this year. J*A*C*K*E*L*Z
the only downfall on fifa this year was that it did not have many league's but bar that i thought it was great ( on the xbox 360 that is)

Sandman
thought fifa 07 was awesome, massive improvement on 06. if this is as bigger improvement again it will be truely amazing. hope they have all the transfers from the summer window on this time - theyve missed the ones from the last couple of days off on the last couple of games. since it is coming out a bit later this year hopefully it will all be up to date. also hope they give arteta and lescott the credit they deserve, they were shit on 07! StevO
pre ordered from play.com the other day, saved a tenner. did the same for 07, got it 2 days before release date (fast postage for once!)
Adam
Looks good but still a PES man myself. Will see what it is like when it comes out though and go and rent it as it does look good.
Louis
I was a PES man but i feel let down by the last xbox 360 version.. I think fifa 08 could be on the cards. It'd be perfect if Goodison was in it but alas not
Sandman
hopefully theyll have Goodison and more grounds on 08. sick of seeing fucking anfield on 07 but weve got the shitty standard one <_<
Louis
I wish the FA had given them the Premiership license only if they agreed to add all Premiership stadiums to the game.

CraccerC
I was a PES man but i feel let down by the last xbox 360 version.. I think fifa 08 could be on the cards. It'd be perfect if Goodison was in it but alas not #same mate, did you also feel that pro evo hadnt improved much at all, then when u play fifa realised how much fifa had improved? thats hwy im gettin fifa this time round, i love the career mode...pro evo is only good for multiplayer really
Louis
Yeah It felt like exactly the same game but with brighter different and up to date kits. I was playing Pro Evo 5 the night before number 6 and noticed there was hardly any difference. I recently played Uefa champions league and that was very good - our players look realistic.. AJ even has his short sleeves blue wristband. If FIFA is an improvement on the UCL game then it will be very good.
J*A*C*K*E*L*Z
^ yer i got pes with my console then went out the next day and swaped it for fifa 07 id be well happy if it was just like champions league but with more teams and league's and to be able to do skill again i cant understand why they took skill away. ( its my fave part)
StevO
the champions league games and just speced up versions of the current fifa games. ive been impressed with fifa 07, but fifa 06 had the well cool free kicks, i wish they would bring them back
Sandman
yeh it was easier to score with free kicks on 06, on 07 you need to add spin to the ball or it just gets hoofed over the bar. only players with their own way of taking free kicks are good on 07 (i.e. ronaldinho, lampard, r.carlos etc)
StevO
hard and low around the wall is the only way i can score free kicks on 07, hit a few normal ones, but only about 1 in 100 go in
J*A*C*K*E*L*Z
score every free kick that comes my way way when im milan with pirlo theyve realised all the game clips on youtube looks very good. Also they have gone from havin no skill to turning it into fifa street like. * loads here also video's ect. http://www.fifa08.ea.com/ChooseTerritory.aspx Edited September 10, 2007 by Jackelz

Sandman
hard and low around the wall is the only way i can score free kicks on 07, hit a few normal ones, but only about 1 in 100 go in if the free kick is fairly central, aim top corner and push the left analogue stick up. keep pushing up until the ball has been kicked, then let go. ronaldinho and beckham are the best fk takers imo. Louis
I've read in a few places that they are rubbish. Apparently the heat from the xbox melts the pin that connects to the 360 to the fan and effectively moulds it on so it can't be removed. Andy
PES all the way, gameplay just seriously outplays FIFA nowadays, only thing that lets PES down is its lack of licenses. i used to be a FIFA man, but it got a wee bit irritating after 2002 and thus became a PES fanboy!
