Louis Posted October 16, 2007 Report Share Posted October 16, 2007 I was watching the Sunday Supplement on sky, one of the journos said the exact same thing saying it's too big a risk playing Lescott at left back because he's too experienced - someone from the Daily Star of all papers put him in his place and said that he plays there often for Everton. GoldfishMemory Posted October 16, 2007 Report Share Posted October 16, 2007 IMO, in only his second England game I believe Lescott will be more comfortable and relaxed playing left back than being thrown in the middle in such an important game. Lescott is a good centre back and does an excellent job at left back but based on this season's performances I don't think he's settled enough in the centre due to the limited games he's payed there at prem level.
