Bill
dont know if anybody has any thoughts about this cos it seems like nobody wants to make a decision. We all knew it was a dodgy deal when it happened, players that where valued at more than £30 million coming to west Ham without them paying a penny. West ham then claimed that the third party interest was no longer applicable and continued to play him even tho no money had still not been exchanged for him. Of course we all know that SHEFF utd, Backed up by Wigan, and Fulham caused a stink resulting in the Court case, and everybody thought it had been sorted. But now the third party (kia jerraboachin) or whatever his name is, is taking West H to court to prove he still owns the player who he now wants to sell to Man utd, on the other hand the FA have said Man utd must deal with, and pay any fee to West ham. We all know that West ham never payed a penny for him and he was only on loan, so how can they expect to pocket £30 million quid for him. The FA have also come out and made a further statement saying West ham will not recieve any more punishment over the whole Tevez affair, and have asked FIFA to help sort it. But i ask you, How can they say that if the outcome as to who owns him has not yet been decided. ?? If the third party wins the case and is found to still be the owner, The FA have made a catastrophic mistake, and West Ham could be in Serious Trouble and in fear of Relegation. MEANWHILE, West Ham have maintained a deadly silence ....... it gets Curiouser and Curiouser. ANY LEGAL MINDS OUT THERE WHO CAN MAKE HEADS OR TAILS OUT OF IT. ??? or just give an opinion. MikeO
Think you've summed it up pretty nicely Bill, I was reading the thread on it a few days back and we all knew it was dodgy/would end in tears but the suspicion at the time was that Chelski/Abramovich/Russian mafia were behind it...>>>LINK<<<. Fuck knows how, or even who, is going to clear it up now.
SimonButtle
as good as tevez is, i'm amazed fergie has'nt pulled out of the deal yet just due to the fact that there is an obvious criminal element to the whole setup, i would have expected manure to want to keep their reputation intact. zequist
Corinthians, Tevez's old club, just announced that they are ending the "partnership" arrangement with Kia J. and MSI that they've had since 2004. Doesn't sound like they're too thrilled with him right now either. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id...986&cc=5901
Bill
What i cant understand is, if he is a West Ham player why isnt he back training with them, he seems to be swanning around the world unattached, and Kia J insists that he still owns the player, if this is so then west ham are in trouble because the 3rd party ownership was not disolved. Its a strange one, which as usual the FA have washed their hands of. Bill.
Mac
It is an odd one Bill, but there are now so many unscrupulous agents in this world that contracts have evolved to the extent that an individual can "own" a human being. There are moral issues as well as the humanistic side to the whole sorry affair. When the deal went through, I think all TT'ers agreed at the time it was sus. Moyes needs to get get his arse over to L.A. and sign up the Beckham boys. ATB Mac
