Kohen
Game of Thrones finale tonight What did you think? I've been a bit underwhelmed with the final half of this season, almost as if every episode has been leading to the next and there's never really any ground been made up! (Excluding last weeks Ep9, which was awesome) "These are questions for wise men, with skinny arms." Edited June 4, 2012 by Kohen
Louis
Same as you.. Last night's episode felt like the Return of the King after ring story was complete. I tell you what though, Jon Snoe missed out on the the ginger wildling Ygritte, he should have took her up on the offer.

Bad enough infront of people peer pressuring in a restaurant never mind getting all your mates to do a song and dance.

I'm sure he'll put that right in the next series (not quite at the point in the book though to say for sure). Some lovely looking women in it though...Robb's new missus is a stunner, Danaeres also, couple of the hookers and I'd certainly accommodate Joffrey's mum if she asked nicely . pete0
Quality! If they done something like that in a movie, I'd rage no would score a goal like that. Didn't expect the scissor kick to be from there at all, absolutely superb, sublime, and every other superlative.
SimonButtle
If i ever finish it, a documentary called Finding Atlantis, about the quest to find the Lost City Of Atlantis, very interesting, i find all that really old history, the true beginings of the world, anicient civilisations really interesting and the thought of a lost city is just incredible, from what ive seen so far, a very good documentary. holystove
Homeland Season 1 .. for the second time. Love it. People can talk about Claire Danes all they want, to me Mandy Patinkin carries the show. Major Winters is ok too . 3 more months til season 2. Lowensda
Saul is a great character, love the depth of his personality, you can't quite work out whether he's the stone-cold proffesional he makes out or whether in his heart of hearts, he's trying to be good. Claire Danes is fantastic in Homeland. I can watch it and genuinely beleive that she (Carrie) exists. Winters he's Brody now, and he plays it brilliantly. You just never know....love it. pete0
City Island, 2009 film but I'd never heard of it. Dysfunctional family/slice-of-life movie without the overly unrealistic stereotypes and forced gags. Highly recommend if you like Win Win. Dalziel Kane
I'm not one for international soccer so this little tournament underway at the moment really does me no favors , but there's a little black and white TV on (4' screen) in an upstairs room and very soon there will be Italy and Spain having a game That sounds quite tasty and should be a good match, this should be some match for the neutrals but I can't see beyond a Spain result but stranger things have happened. I don't watch ITV if I can help it, and their awful presenters are a fucking annoyance, but get past that, and concentrate on the action in question, no commercials etc, then it should be a decent fixture. Matt
Watched it religiously start to finish . thank God someone else has! Its incredible! A few too many bullshit stories to fill out the seasons (even those are good though!) but the underlying story is just amazing, absolutely gripping. Best thing is... Ive got a film (which might make sense this time round!) and 4 more seasons to go!

SimonButtle
Not the Euro's anymore, im bored of it already tbh, most of the matches have been dreadful. Did see a great docu the other day called 'The Egyptian Job' which was about the oldest recorded heist some 4000 years ago, and it was very much in the style of the Italian job or Oceans 11, these dudes were clever. The Hawara tomb contained the usual gold, silver, jewels etc etc, and these guys basically spent a year tunneling into it and breaking past all the traps and stole the loot, it was all very interesting.
