Sev Posted Saturday at 16:02 Report Share Posted Saturday at 16:02 I sincerely hope it's because Ndiaye got a small knock. Otherwise it's tactically unwise .... well, stupid.

Sev Posted Saturday at 16:11 Report Share Posted Saturday at 16:11 We'll win this, but only because Ipswich have been mostly quite poor in both ends. This would not have happened against most other Premier League teams. No credit to Dyche for his, once again, lacking subs, when there are clearly players that should have been subbed. Shukes Posted Saturday at 16:12 Report Share Posted Saturday at 16:12 2-0 up with 9 minutes to go. Don’t risk your most important player. Game management has been decent today for once.

Against a half decent side we would have folded - absolutely no management of the game. Sev
Palfy Posted Saturday at 16:12 Report Share Posted Saturday at 16:12 Very comfortable win should have had at least 4, we dealt well with everything Ipswich had to throw at us. Shukes

No I agree with Palfy above, it’s been very comfortable. We’ve won at a canter really, could and should have been even more. Talking a progressive and aggressive player off for a player who will slow it down and steal momentum is game management. It’s why we all work 9-5 and they don’t. Tonsta Posted Saturday at 16:20 Report Share Posted Saturday at 16:20 Well Mike O that ones for you, have a good night tonight, and put other things on the back burner at least for a short time. It’s an actual coaching strategy used by Man City, Liverpool and Everton. They call it momentum training.
StatesideToffee14 Posted Saturday at 16:22 Report Share Posted Saturday at 16:22 After starting our season with 4 straight defeats, we've now gone 4 straight without a loss. The match next week at home against Fulham will be tough but the 2 after that away to Southampton and West Ham are certainly winnable based on how those sides have looked early on. Then you sub before fatal errors are being made and also to do the player a favour. Basta!
Matt Tiger Posted Saturday at 16:25 Report Share Posted Saturday at 16:25 I don’t think we played a brilliant match by any means but I also don’t think we played as poorly as some seem to. Thought our shape was good, we had a consistent plan on how we wanted to attack, and our back line was very solid.
Popular Post Romey 1878 Posted Saturday at 16:26 Author Popular Post Report Share Posted Saturday at 16:26 Not an easy watch just because I was nervous (because, Everton) but in reality that was a very comfortable win for us. I felt like we were fully in control for the majority of the game and when Ipswich did come into the game we shut it down professionally. 4 games unbeaten, another clean sheet (and with Keane as part of the team, who had another superb game), first away win. Plenty to work on but also plenty to build on too. Shukes, Cornish Steve, MikeO and 2 others

And to be fair it worked, like Haf pointed out…. We’ve learned our lesson from the Bournemouth game and learnt how to hold o to a 2-0 lead. Good clean sheet. Zoo 2.0 Posted Saturday at 16:30 Report Share Posted Saturday at 16:30 Three points, clean sheet and our first away win in the Premier League since 1987. What's not to like? Didn't see any of the game as my stick threw a tantrum, ended up having to leave the house anyway so totally missed the second half as I was following updates via you lot. Will catch up on YouTube with a big smile on my face. Onwards and upwards. ¡Vamos Everton! Shukes
