Iliman Ndiaye

I like him quite a bit as a player and he offers some creativity in an area that we need it desperately. Looks like he had a bit of a rough one in ligue 1 but not a disaster either especially considering he’s only 24. His fee looks like it won’t be too bad given his age, position, and track record. Made up with this one if it gets over the line.

If he did then we wouldn't be getting him for under £20m - that's where we are.

The reality is that he is a perfect dyche player.... hard working and disciplined with some cutting edge. Still very young and most sheff United fans rated him higher than gibbs-white.

I might be wrong but Gibbs-white is very good.
I would still like Szmodics similar price I know he’s older.

Gibbs white is very good and this lad was better in the eyes of United fans.

Obviously transfermarkt isnt perfect but it gives a decent sense of where players are valued without the subjectivity of any one fan base. There, Ndiaye is valued at 15m and gibbs-white is valued at 40m. He just isn't realistically a possibility for us. I think Ndiaye offers the same potential but where we are right now we can't get that without some risk.

Gibbs white is probably at that value cos that's how much Forest paid and he's prem proven.  I personally thought it was inflated - probably barely worth that amount now.

Getting Ndiaye for under £20m is due to him having a tough season at Marseille which is understandable - 3 mangers in a season

If the fee is indeed the £17m quoted, then I think this is a good solid bit of business.

- Player fits well as a hardworker, to suit both Dyche and what we fans expect. I don't care what league you play in you either have this trait or you don't

- not a silly transfer fee and will not be on ridiculus wages,

- can play as a forward or attacking midfeilder, but can aslo filling on either flank if needed.

- seem to always be available for games (trying not to jinx it!!),

- he will be hungery to do well in the Premier League,

- has good attributes going forward, but equally seems to have the attributes needed when out of possession (which we are a lot),

- if he translates what is discussed about him in the articles below from the Championship to the PL over one of two season, we benfit massivley on the pitch and and his value at least doubles.

As a attacking midfeilder/second striker - I would see him as a better player than Doucoure and if he has is energy to match, then great signing.
