Popular Post Btay
Wish he got his goal today but the lad is growing with each game. Struggled a bit with Ziyech but overall another very good game. Much better from our scouting/transfer department in regards to character & ability. Wiggytop
He played a very cool calm clearance out from our box towards the end, didn’t hoof it, found one of our MF, the start of attack, we need more of that. Heath and RuffRob
SpartyBlue
Worth noting he’s still years younger than Digne was when he came over. Hopefully he can continue to improve. dunlopp9987, Heath and London Blue
Hafnia
Defensively he pisses all over Digne. Still got a bit of filling out to do which will win him battles but he is switched on and is game as anything. not as technically polished as Digne but I don’t care, I know who I would want in a relegation battle. duncanmckenzieismagic and Heath
Gwlad
I applaud him. Early days were difficult for him personally - and still are I guess. I think he's being positive and football is giving him a reason to play for his family and the flag. Strong lad. Heath
StevO
If he just put the ball in the net, give us a bit of relaxing time today I’d be happier. But another strong performance from him. Btay, Heath and London Blue 2
Hafnia
He understands that letting crosses into the box isn’t a good thing which Digne seemed to think was ok. Heath and plaidharper
MC11
Gutted he missed that big chance but he’s settled so well now. Surely one of the first on Franks team sheet now Heath
Palfy
I’m gutted he missed that chance because it gave Rom 10 points but to be honest I’m happy he missed it I can’t help thinking if he slotted it would we have taken our foot off the gas and let them back in, and then not be able to get the intensity back up and possibly walk of with a draw. More than happy with the win and Mykolenko’s defensive and offensive work another solid game for the young man against one of the top teams in the league. Popular Post Heath
I have to admire Mykolenko. He's 22, moves to England to play in one of the hardest leagues around, replaces an established team and fan 'favourite' at a club that is fighting to hold on to their Premier League status, then his Country (where I'm guessing he still has family and friends) is invaded and becomes involved in a war with Russia. The levels of mixed emotion, pressure, and anxiety must be mind blowing for him, yet he's still able focus and put in performances like the one against Chelsea. Unbelievably strong character. Cornish Steve
From Garth Crooks' Team of the Week: Mykolenko: When you consider what is taking place in Ukraine at the moment with the Russian invasion, it's a testament to Mykolenko's strength, courage and resilience that he's in any fit mental state to play professional football. To bring the Ukraine international into the starting line-up at this time must have raised some eyebrows. Nevertheless, the full-back's outstanding goal provided the impetus for the Toffees - who have never been relegated from the Premier League - to go on and win the game and take three vital points.
