MikeO
Blackburn fans seem impressed with him yesterday dipping into one of their forums, one decent player in a shitstorm of a performance by the sound of it; they really want rid of Tony Mowbray. c1982
Poor challenge but nothing more than clumsy. Warnock being Warnock - dick! Mowbray will protect him but he seems to handle himself professionally when someone, old enough to be his granddad, tries to spark a reaction. Wiggytop
Looks an unintentional challenge, but a bit clumsy. If Warnock has a gripe, it should be with the officials now Jarrod. pete0 and Matt

Could maybe understand him being cross in the heat of the moment if it happened in the 93rd minute, but after an hour and a half to calm down? Idiot should know better at his age. Bailey
Its a nasty old challenge though. Clearly no intent but its dangerous to say the least. I have no idea how it wasn't a penalty. Shukes

Popular Post Zoo 2.0
Won't be a popular post, but taking off the blue tinted glasses and it's a horrendous tackle. Why his leg was so high (rather than heading it) is beyond me, I don't know what Jarrad was expecting other than to give away a penalty which is what should have been given? According to the medical team, the stud was less than an inch from taking the lads eye out (it was a grotesque looking injury), Warnock has every right to be angry as any one of us would be had it happened to James, DCL, Charlie etc. How many people were (rightly) angry with Son after he broke Gomes' ankle for example? In short, can totally get why Warnock is angry. Branthwaite was naive to think that he could swing his leg that high in the box and get away with it, thank fuck he wasn't playing for us as with VAR that's a penalty and a red - not that there is any malice I'm sure, so the player himself should be advised what to do going forward rather than being crucified in the press and/or on the field after the game. Poor from the officials too you have to say, to miss that between them is astounding. dunlopp9987, pete0, Matt and 3 others
markjazzbassist
It will be interesting to see if it galvanizes him or is his undoing. Will be a lot of Twitter trash sending nasty things and fans and the like on his back. Big test of character

He hasn't meant to kick the guy in the head but he has put his foot out dangerously high with his studs showing when he could reasonably expect another player to attempt to head the ball. Popular Post pete0
Usually I'd kick off that the player was a shithouse going for the ball like that but he's not even aware their player is there. Just shear laziness. It's dangerous and he's scared someone's face for life. But think he'll feel like shit enough without their manager getting involved. Whole world put their arms round Son and his had intent and severer consequences. Braithwiate is a kid, they should be more understanding. Shame about Holgate because he seemed to have everything - still time to turn it around but I think the 4 CB’s are enough and funds towards a proper RB are crucial. markjazzbassist
Matt
Holgate just needs a run and he’ll be that superstar he was turning into. At the moment he’s coming across more arrogant than confident, but that’s because he’s not getting a run. He’ll still be an excellent CB for us London Blue

London Blue
I have seen a couple of games of his in the championship, and while he has loads of potential, he is a couple of years away from our first team. He needs a couple of seasons on loan to play and develop. Definitely a future centre back for us.

If he can use yesterday to kick on then happy days. Excited to see what Branthwaite can turn into also, I've been hearing good things online about him at Blackburn.
