Shukes
Devastated for him. The lad has had no luck whatsoever here. Wish him all the best and hope he makes a recovery and ends up being a legend here.
markjazzbassist
terrible new but i think this means a CM is coming now or will in the summer. he had injury issues previous to joining us so we would be smart to have another at his position that's healthy and quality. Sibdane
He(and us) just can't get a break with injuries. The best news is Gomes coming back so fast, but I'm even worried about that.

I’ve not made my mind up one way or the other on his ability. Btay and Cisk

I think you’re right Matt he’s played I think 165 minutes of football for us in his first season here and what looks more likely a complete season, you can’t know whether he will be good or poor from that. And his injury record doesn’t look very good either although this is a new problem for him could it now be a repetitive one let’s hope not. Bailey
At least he should get a full preseason in to properly get him up to speed.
Aidan
It's a shame for the player and the club. Its also a shame the fans didn't get a decent look in to be able to judge his ability. I hope he returns well from his injury and doesn't turn out to be another injury prone player.
Haiku
Unfortunately quadriceps injuries can be quite severe and have high rates of recurrence upon returning to sports when not fully healed.

markjazzbassist
wonderful, 8 weeks means about early april. he will have to get back to fitness too. i'm guessing carlo will want to see him in may and suss out whether he can be one for the future or if DM is something we'll need in the summer. Agreed, but I think of the ones who still have time left on their contract, Cenk, Sandro, Bolassie, Siggy, and Delph will go. I think Morgan will stay as he seems to be such an arrogant player, albeit a very talented one, that he only plays well for managers he respects, and he respects Carlo. Theo will stay as he has pace. StevO
I doubt anyone would want to buy him if we wanted to sell him after having a season out. I just hope he can stay fit for next season.
Romey 1878
I hope he doesn't play at all this season. Another set back could really hurt him mentally. Lets just get him 100% for next season now. nutmegwolf203, Matt and MikeO
