Not saying he's past it obviously, but it's not as if he's some young guy who just broke onto the scene Romey 1878

Fosse Captain
Sell. Maybe we’ll get a decent(ish) fee for him. Won’t ever be good enough for us. Getting loaned to L1 at 23/24 years old shows that Heath
Heath
Broadhead is not going to command any playing time with us. If we can get a fee for him and he gets to play regularly elsewhere, then I think that will be best for all concerned.
Romey 1878
We're going to keep giving him a new deal and then loan him out until he retires, aren't we? . RuffRob

Fosse Captain
Unless FL keeps him around this season, which I doubt he will, a new deal makes no sense at all. Peak Everton again!

Matt
Didn't Ossie go out repeatedly on loan until he was 24/25? There's clearly something to him that is keeping the hope in him alive this long. Not like we're afraid of letting kids go for free

It's common I think for lower league clubs to ask higher clubs to keep paying some of the wages when the youngsters are on decent wages (even 5k a week can be high for a lower league club). it's a quid pro quo - you keep paying his wages as you would anyway and we will give him game time that you can't.
