He can do a lot more than Morgan can and therefore better than you are giving him credit for! I thought he was hyped for the same reasons you stated but when I watched him closely, he does a lot of good things each game. I think he is two footed as well. I wouldnt class Sig as a true CM, he is an attacking midfielder whereas Mooy can play DM, CM and has the passing range and awareness to play as an AM too. IMO its players like that we need, none of this specialist DM (Morgan/Gana) or specialist 10s (half the squad). Im not saying he is a world beater or anything but we miss the McCarthy types that are solid honest players who can do a bit of everything. You did skew it from what I was getting at with your initial comment saying he's better than what we already have which he clearly isn'ttt Your saying things I haven't said... I didn't say he could do less or more than anyone!!! I said as a player not one specific area or niche attribute as an all round player Morgan in general is a better player imo as is Sigurdsson a fit McCarthy etc He's a central midfielder regardless of being versatile he doesn't play in the back line or front line so he's a central/utility player, would I have him here yes as a squad player as he's an upgrade in my eyes in that regard but a first teamer not for me.. Anyway as said I never said he's shite I said we should be aiming higher if people genuinely think that's not the case then I really hope our management team have higher expectations and aims than some fans do
aaron
Aaron Mooy is at his level at Huddersfield. I like him and what he does for Huddersfield but I defo do not want him anywhere near our team. We have better and need better than him. He reminds me of what Charlie Adam was to Blackpool, once he moves to a "bigger" club he will be out of his depth. Romey 1878

I didnt say that you said Mooy couldnt do more by the way. I argued that Mooy is a better player and why, not that you said he cant do this or that. I get that people want to see big names walk through the door but in order for big names to shine you need the workhorses who keep everything ticking over. I am not saying it should be Mooy but I want to see more players who want to fight for the shirt and have quality rather than the show ponies we have at the moment who go hiding when the going gets tough. Mooy had a tough season with Huddersfield and he shined whereas Morgan, Siggy, Klaasen, Gueye, Davies had a tough season and all performed below what they can, way below in some cases. The one thing I would argue against Mooy is that he is likely to cost a lot more than he is actually worth.
EFC-Paul
I'm personally not after big names but better quality than the likes of Mooy Things are far from as cut and dry as he played well for them and they didn't for us, it's an avenue that's even silly to go down there's that many variables Decent player not good enough to push us on its that simple and what I initially said and was getting at Anyway we'll never stop at this rate Bailey
Wiggytop
I wouldn't dismiss him on the basis of he's at his level at Huddersfield, Peter Reid was a risk when he came to us and look how that turned out!
DavisJD
Anyway moving on, Daniel Arzani is the only Aussie I hope Everton go for. Very close with Cahill so there is a vague link there , and has stated he’s looking for a move to Europe. Would need to play U21 for a season (not farmed out) to keep him tutored under Silva, but he has potential. Will be far cheaper than the young English talent Everton has been spending big on the past seasons.

Yeah, we were close to signing him earlier but he broke his ankle which ruined that, it was many years later when evrybody thought he was ffinished that we finally signed him. Didnt work out to bad cos he was a good player for us. rubecula
Bailey
If there is any chance that we can get Dembele (spurs) then we simply must give it a go. Absolute boss.

It had been a while since I'd seen Tielemans play, and he didn't even have a particularly good game as he was often sloppy with his passing, but still I couldn't help but notice what a clever player he is: incredible positional sense offensively, always knows where he's going to pass before he receives the ball, wlways turning forwards when he gets the ball from the defenders… He has a bit of a Hazard like body as well, low centre of gravity, thick thighs. and he didn't have a great start to life at Monaco, so maybe he could be had. Yeh I certainly see something in him too. Like you say he was a bit wasteful and he would sometimes do some great work and mess up that final ball but he does look like a player. There doesnt appear to an immediate weakness to his game.

Bailey
I like the look of this left back for Uruguay. I havent watched him closely but I have been impressed when he has been involved. Looks quick and aggressive too. Needs to get rid of those fucking braids though. I know he is on holiday but someone needs to have a word with him. duncanmckenzieismagic
Would anyone take a punt on Nacer Chadli from West Brom? Any lower half prem team that needs some creativity out wide should be looking to snap him up.
