rubecula
Berbatov? I would sooner put a wheelie bin up front as it is more active. (and less likely to ask for big wages) I can not think of a good replacement for Lukaku off the top of my head. I hope RM can though, whatever is decided at the end of the season. Bailey
What are peoples thoughts on Remy being Lukaku's replacement, especially if QPR dont come up? Seems to be doing quite well for Newcastle. Matt

Seems to be doing quite well for Newcastle. I actually think Remy wouldn't be a bad idea. He knows where the net is. Reminds of Lukaku in that he can disappear from a game but still manage to get on the scoresheet. Would rather have Lukaku of course. Vranny
I was keen on Remy over the last transfer window as a cheaper option (a la Kone), or Doumbia if we had the money for a top class striker.

Innocent until proven guilty though I suppose, plenty of people out there trying to make a buck.

I would be ecstatic if we somehow picked up Doumbia. I see him moving to the PL and killing it -- hopefully with us!
Lowensda
Juan Cuadrado - Winger/AM Julian Baumgartlinger - DM/CM Charles Aranguiz - DM/CM/AM Nicolas Nkoulou - CB ANtoine Griezmann - AM Daley Blind - LB Hiroshi Kiyotake - AM/PM (Wanted him for a while, perfect for RM's style of Football). Quinn31
Sky Sports transfer newsline has reported a number of newspaper rumors involving us.We're the clear favorite for Aiden McGeady/ We're supposedly interested (along w/Sunderland) in Lazio attacking mid Honorato Ederson. Also, we're supposedly interested in Schalke centerback Joel Matip, a player I bought to Everton in FIFA. I rate him... Big, tall, decent pace, strong, good in the air. Everything you'd want in a centerback, he could be a good Distin replacement.
Romey 1878
I'm pretty excited at what the next few transfer windows are going to bring us tbh.
JoeQuince
Matip would be one hell of a buy. He'd be pricey though, wouldn't he? Should we be spending that much at cb when we have greater needs elsewhere? (I have no clue how much they are saying he will leave for) Quinn31
