Matt
My mistake then . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Dier Wiki may be full of bullshit, but its usually good for players careers, goals, games played etc...
Romey 1878
I thought we signed him from Sporting and then sold him back? Nope, just a youth loan.

c1982
Now Chelsea have got Willian a cheeky loan bid for Moses should be a go-er! It makes sense. From the people who I trust on twitter they have hinted earlier in the summer that this would happen close to the deadline.

Still not convinced about him being anything more than a bulldozer but I'd like to get some more pace in the side, so a loan would make sense. I'm not sold about him either. He's got the pace and power, but I'd like some more skill. More Mata or Hazard-like. marcus jones

Bailey
There is more to his game than pace and power. I watched him a lot more for Wigan than I did for Chelsea and his football intelligence was better than I had anticipated for someone who is still quite raw. Lowensda
If Fellaini does go, let's try our hand with Nir Biton, the Israeli lad. Looked a tad good in the U21's tourny and i've just read that he trialed with City last year, played 3 games and completed 90 minutes against Arsenal in a friendly and didn't look out of place. Get a march over City and Spurs for him, Bobby. Video of the games in question - Just joined Celtic - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23869184 Keep an eye out for him people. Want to see how he gets on

Matt
considering the the influx at Spurs, what would people think of Assou-Ekotto if Baines left? Quinn31
Quinn31
considering the the influx at Spurs, what would people think of Assou-Ekotto if Baines left? I imagine he'd be a better replacement than most. He's 29 though, and Daniel Levy would be... well, Daniel Levy in negotiations.

c1982
i know hes no world beater, but hes a better, albeit short term, solution than Bertrand and Oviedo. I don't think Oviedo is ready but I think Bertrand would be a better investment with a few years Prem experience behind him, especially in the current system where there will be plenty of chances to get forward. I can't see Ekotto playing far into his 30s - sure he was quoted as saying he doesn't really like football, it's just a job! Matt
StevO
I like Ekotto. But I like Bertrand too. But I much prefere Baines. Matt
