Makis
It does say "Everton". But apart from that part looking like the back of a scifi spaceship it's hard to see much else. But just how old does Elstone look in that picture? It's like he has aged 20 years in a year.

Its this that makes me think that's it. it certainly looks different from anything in the premier league.
StevO
The tweet from Dan and the same image being in the leaked documents in the summer. The roof structure looks like a nod to the Leict detail in GP.

pete0
This futuristic stuff is great when new, but quickly dates. I would've preferred a stadium in the old red brick industrial building style. Matt

Newty82
Only Elstone could set out to deliver good news but leave you questioning the whole thing with his wording. Romey 1878, markjazzbassist and Paddock
Shukes
Typical Everton. Before we have even put in planning applications... costs are spiralling haha!

Matt
so a 50% increase in budget before we have planning permission? Either the designs are completely out of this world or someone seriously fucked up the calculations

I know, I've worked on a greenfield project. But putting 50% on top of the budget before final designs, planning permission - before they've broken ground?! That's worrying. Luckily it's not my money

StevO
I’m disappointed we’ve still not seen some official renderings. the cost, not bothered as long as the season tickets don’t become a crazy price. If they are really looking around 58,000 it needs to stay affordable to fill it. And it needs to be full.
Bill
Not worried about the cost it's not my money, and as long as the capacity is higher than the redshites I'll be very happy. barryj, Swarzy and StevO
