MikeO
Tough call this, case could be made for most of them and nobody stunk the place out. Weird feeling when you're used to looking for the least worst. But I think Baines as well, because he came back like he'd never been away; actually probably better than he'd been early season. If he'd have taken the pen and tucked it away it'd be a no-brainer (though as I predicted a 2-0 win in the BBC comp a tiny part of me was glad Wayne failed, sorry). Sir McGiven
My vote goes for Baines. very good performance defensively and supporting the attacking moves. he was the best performer today. I could have voted for Bolasie for his unexpectedly good performance as well

That’s what happens when you play a player in his proper position. Weird that! Sir McGiven and Matt

He is capable to perform better while he is playing as AMC. Shame for the fat wood log who forces him to play as an AML.
Sibdane
Siggy or Baines. So happy to see another Tosun goal. Fuck off, Sam. Matt and Romey 1878
c1982
Gylfi - top class. I’m quietly developing a man crush on him. He’s like a high-end hooker; far too expensive and probably never justifiable of the cost but the money’s gone now so just enjoy it! I read that as inflatable the first time I'd say there are multiple candidates as man of the match. Good job by the players.
Wiggytop
Leighton Baines, gave a very assured performance on his return, drove us forward well and solid in defence, more importantly he gave us back the balance the team has been missing, allowing the centre backs not to feel the need to cover, and the Lw to be more attacking minded. Overall a good team performance which makes a change from recent weeks.
StevO
I thought Gylfi was brilliant until he took that knock, then seemed to go a bit quiet. Baines was like himself from about four years ago today. Bolasie beat his man over and over but his end product is still shocking. I went with Jags though, we needed a solid centre half performance and someone to keep it steady. Won everything, and kept Keane calm too. Not made a huge difference having Jags, Baine and Coleman on the pitch together for the first time in ages. Though there was still panic in the crowd when they got near our goal, there wasn’t panic on the pitch. MikeO

Bailey
I went with Rooney. He just dictated the game defensively and offensively.
nogs
Only watched highlights but having Baines and Coleman back is huge. Better in every department with those two on the pitch. Bailey and Shukes
