Sir McGiven
Transfers from Dutch league can be very tricky as their league is tricky itself. A guy can score 50 in a season in the Dutch league and they always struggle in other leagues. I'll be whistling in the dark by saying that but probably near %70 - %80 of those transfers were failures. Sure, there are good examples as well but all in the history, nowadays they can't produce good attackers.
markjazzbassist
that's the problem, for all the failures and Klaassen's there are Luis Suarez and RVP and Kuyt which makes teams think again.
Peter H
Klaassen is not a failure yet. Give the lad a chance. Matt

This board is already labeling signings we haven't made yet as failures, Peter - much less Cenk Tosun who's time is clearly up here and Klaassen, the dinosaur who has been stealing a wage from us for the better part of a decade Peter H

I’ve seen people moaning about the way Allardyce is handling him, and that’s about it. markjazzbassist

plaidharper
My attempt to highlight the talent we have was genuine but the execution was quite poor.
