Aidan
Potential is there. But could end up more of a flash in the pan than anything else. A deulofeu of you wish. Cue the "he plays for Barca, dont you know?!"

Matt
Only seen bits of him, but he’s looked ok. Not likely to be sold though.
c1982
Great find by Watford - he seems to have the lot. Great work rate and attitude for this league too. Think he’ll leave them in the summer for a massive profit for Watford and I’m sure teams like Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool will look at him. I’d love him here but don’t think it will happen. Bill
If we had got Silva there might of been a slight chance of him bringing him with him, but it's not to be.

Sibdane
He's been really good for Watford this season. I'd take him in a heartbeat. Would he come here if ManU and Chelsea are after him? ManU has Mourinho which doesn't really suit the attacking style of him, and I don't expect Conte to be at Chelsea next season, so there's a big question mark there too. Our manager situation is also up in the air.

Bill
Rather go for Rashford, Jose just doesn't play him and he's getting very frustrated at not getting any games.

Newty82
Good player, seems highly rated but surely to god not £40-£50million!!! Think I'll go check out The Hornets Nest, that lot will be going nuts...
Newty82
My god...just Googled it. It's everywhere! Sky Sports main headline. £50 million. Surely it's not £50 million. That's fuckin insane.
Bailey
Thats an insane amount of money for a player that only played well for a few months. I thought he looked very good under Silva. He had everything (bar maybe not being the best finisher) but things seemed to sour for him once Silva left. I saw him get subbed off and throw a hissy a couple of times too. We should be finding the next Richarlison.
markjazzbassist
it says which could be worth 50m. which means it will be 35m-40m plus add ons. honestly i'd be happy with that, he's very young, brazilian (we need to get one to start recruiting others), and if he lives up to his potential could be sold in a few years to barca/real for double/triple that. Haiku
Yeah, we should probably stop discussing transfer fees. The market is insane these days, we just have to adjust to it or stop talking about it. It's not our money and as fans we should be only interested in player's value on the pitch. So the question is, is he going to be an asset for us regardless of the fee? markjazzbassist, StevO and Sibdane
Paddock
It wont be 50 million. It may eventually rise to that but I doubt it’ll be more than half that to start with.
markjazzbassist
he would be the de facto starter on the left if he came, maybe why we would sell lookman. i had a laugh, transfermarkt has a Comparable players column, Lozano is on there for Richarlison. who would you rather have? for me richarlison, proven he can do it in the prem already (albeit for half a campaign). EFC-Paul
It won't be a flat out £50m fee it'll be rising to that amount He's 21 already shown in his first season he's a proper player with massive amounts of potential so I'm not to arsed about a fee that will rise to that kind of figure he's hardly a yard dog it's the potential your paying for markjazzbassist
c1982
I’m seeing £40m being reported with £10m of that as ‘compensation’ for Silva to get Watford off our backs. £30m for him in this market is about right - the extra £10m makes Watford look good and appeases their fans. markjazzbassist
