thoward18
Multiple reports saying he is coming here. Multiple saying he is on a plane to England. Multiple saying he is training in Holland. "Silly Season" indeed.
Peter H
As I mentioned earlier, Fourth Official knew nothing about it and if there's one Twitter warrior i'd listen to, its him/her. Fourth Official has been off lately. Got quite a few wrong so far.
Lowensda
If that's the case, then fair enough...dont get me excited about it being possible. Must calm down.
Louis
Get excited, this day only comes twice a year - it's the only bit of excitement we get as Evertonians. Lowensda
Matt
It looks like a no-go, he is now with the Dutch national team. Ozil is with the German national team, still having a medical with Arsenal (or so were told). Location is irrelevant for a medical... Cornish Steve
So how exactly would he fit into the squad? As a full international, he'd only come if a regular starter, right?
Feyenoord010
Guys, I just made a account to keep you informed about the possible transfer From Bruno Martins Indi to everton. Feyenoord010
Appreciate you taking that initiative and doing that for us. Much respect. Keep us updated! No Problem As it stands now: A journalist from our national football magazine and is a Feyenoord 'Watcher" , reported that you (Everton) will only finalise the deal when Baines is sold. http://www.fr12.nl/nieuws/23530-live--feyenoord-wacht-nog-op-telefoontje.html

Cornish Steve
Not so sure. If seems that ManU is now offering 20m for Baines.
thoward18
I've read that he's best suited as a CB and that he would only want to move if he was playing CB. Any truth to that?

Feyenoord010
I've read that he's best suited as a CB and that he would only want to move if he was playing CB. Any truth to that? Well it is true he is at his best in the role as CB,( he is completely out of form the last few weeks at CB) But he is still a good CB. He is also good as a LB and that role he has at the dutch national team. At the beginning of our season he demanded a role as CB and if did not get he wanted to make a transfer. As we have 5 very good CB (including BMI) now so we are in the position to sell him. Edited September 2, 2013 by Feyenoord010

duncanmckenzieismagic
I heard they'd offered £15m and it'd been quickly rejected. The Echo are saying it was £15M Also just put up this on their blog Leighton Baines has joined up with the England squad at St George's Park. The chances he will be making the move to Old Trafford now look more remote than ever after Everton owner Bill Kenwright made clear he wasn't interested in any more offers for the left-back. It would take a considerably larger fee from anything Manchester United have offered before to prise him away from Goodison and at this stage that looks unlikely to happen. Feyenoord010
According to several dutch media he will not move to Everton, as Everton are giving the liking to Davide Astori from Cagliari. http://www.soccernews.nl/news/207360/Everton_verkiest_Italiaan_boven_Martins_Indi http://www.fr12.nl/nieuws/23536---bruno-martins-indi-blijft-bij-feyenoord--.html

gethinO
He's highly rated and could see him being Distin's replecment. He's a CB but can play LB. At 8 million it looks a good piece of business. Lowensda

At 8 million it looks a good piece of business. He's a very decent player. You're probably right, he'd certainly fill the Distin sized hole in a couple of years. Long career ahead for the guy.
