Lowensda
Oh dear. Just because we have some money now, I wouldn't want to spend it for the sake of it.

c1982
I don't particularly want him due to his injury proneness and hefty price tag but he's a big upgrade on our current wingers.

pete0
If he's fit i think he's a very good player. But, hes never fit.And a very good finisher.. But like you say if you can get him on the pitch.
Makis
He played 28 league matches and scored ten goals last season and the same amount of matches season before but only scored five. So I'd say he hasn't lived up to his reputation lately.
Aidan
Depends where he's played. If he's out wide he won't score as much than if he's in the centre. I think he will score more here too and teams will not sit off us as much as they do arsenal.

Romey 1878
well, we need someone to occupy the physio table now we've got rid of the likes of Kone et al I'm sure we can find someone already here to keep the physio in business without spending £30m to make it happen . Newty82
No thanks. Hurry up and get these 2 or 3 more players in so all this can stop!

Shukes
I'd be happy with him, a very capable player. Me too. Looked like a very mature player last year as well. Non stop danger.
Lowensda
I don't like thinking of spending big money of players which their respective club ambassadors are saying are a good deal (for them). http://www.mp3pals.com/sport/ian-wright-urges-arsenal-to-accept-evertons-30m-bid-for-walcott/ I want clubs to feel like we're getting a snip, whoever we buy from. markjazzbassist
30m? fuck no. for 15m yes.
Lowensda
Like Pete, had a rethink. We cry out for pace and goals from others, he does offer that when fit. Scored 19 last year? Good squad player at the very least. £30m is a tad too high still.
StevO
Is £30m too high if £50m is ok for Gylfi?
markjazzbassist
Is £30m too high if £50m is ok for Gylfi? i'd rather take walcott on 20-25 than glyfi at 40-50.
SimonButtle
Is £30m too high if £50m is ok for Gylfi? Walcott has had a hell of alot of injuries over his career. but to be fair to him Arsenal as a club have a shocking fitness record overall. The Gylfi price is just ridiculous and personally i wish we would just walk away from it, but Koeman seems determined to get him.
Bailey
No way. Walcott isn't going to move us forward. He isn't very good, but he is a good finisher and I'm not sure he is as quick as he was either. He doesn't contribute anything to the team when he doesn't score. Lowensda
Is £30m too high if £50m is ok for Gylfi? £50m is not ok. Gylfi £35m tops for me. Walcott £20m tops. markjazzbassist
Bailey
I dont even think he is a Koeman type player. Generally we are buying hungry, thinking footballers, the opposite of Walcott.

nyblue23
I've always been scared by Walcott when we've played against him. I do think there's a good player in there still when healthy, but I think he's struggled for form the last couple seasons because of injury and better options for Arsenal. Anyone who puts up the numbers he did in 2012-13 obviously has some quality (21 goals, 14 assists in 43 matches), and he isn't too old yet, but I agree that 30m is far too much at his age and with his form of recent years. If we could get him for 15-20, I'd take him in a heartbeat.
