Bailey
Another great shot lookmanThought it was poor myself. Should have gone to his right or at the very least should have been on target. At least it was a shot I suppose! markjazzbassist
They played to draw on a small narrow pitch. The players just weren't up for it, kudos to koeman for changing tactics at half and trying new things. Never even a worry they would score, we were absolute shit and we still got a clean sheet draw, can't be mad at that, usually when we are shit we lose. JoeQuince
Lukaku was abysmal aerially today. We were slow and unimaginative in general. West Ham did everything they could to stop us from playing in the final third and we never did anything to change our plan. This is ultimately Koeman's failure. But, he should be putting the squad through hell in training this week. Embarrassing.

He changed the tactics and subs quickly, the players were just shit and lazy. No one wanted to press today.

Cornish Steve
Awful strategy. Awful performance. Awful man-management (of Robles). Awful attitude. In the first half, no shots and (according to the BBC) just one touch in their area. Second half, not much better. Thank goodness we were playing an awful team. A very forgettable day. Romey 1878
That was an awful performance. At no point did we look like winning it. I don't know what happens to us when we play away from Goodison but we're garbage, and it needs sorting.
MikeO
Our new fridge freezer was delivered just before half time so I missed the end of the first half and the start of the second. That was the most exciting part of my afternoon.

Bailey
Where are people getting this narrow pitch stuff? From what I can see it is standard prem size, the same as Goodison and and only 1 meter narrower than Wembley.

Guest rusty747
Well, Koeman sorted our defence out (in a fashion) this season. Maybe he can sort out our away form next season. That will be the difference between 7/8th and 3/4th imho.
Aidan
Well, Koeman sorted our defence out (in a fashion) this season. Maybe he can sort out our away form next season. That will be the difference between 7/8th and 3/4th imho. On the road, that's where the difference lies IMO. If you look at the top 7 all their home records have been excellent, Spurs haven't lost, the rest have lost 1 or 2 max. Outside of the top 7 teams have lost 6,7+ times at home. We need to improve our mentality away from home. And inject someone in the squad who is going to create something out of nothing in those big games with no space in behind. We need to win a lot more than 4 away games at this stage of the season in order to challenge with the big boys.
