markjazzbassist
at this point i would let him go to Werder Bremen. get rid and move on with gylfi, dowell, davies, vlasic at that position.
plaidharper
not bothered. will never be up to the physicality of the epl. mentioned it awhile ago in this thread. he did not stand out when playing those games with the u23. nothing has changed and neither has my opinion. markjazzbassist
KLAASSEN NEARS BREMEN SWITCH Everton midfielder Davy Klaassen’s move to Bundesliga side Werder Bremen is close to completion, according to Sky sources. The former Ajax captain failed to nail down a regular starting place at Goodison Park and is on the brink of making the move to Germany. Klaassen won’t be involved at Blackburn Rovers tonight. great news, let the exodus begin plaidharper and London Blue

Haiku
Shame really it didn't worked out for him. He was a stand out midfielder at Eredivisie and can't even break in as a backup for us, that's quite frustrating. He'll want to play every week and has probably been told that won't happen, his agent will have fished him around and he just has to weigh up his options. The pace of the Premiership clearly doesn't allow him to be at his best.

Take Yobo for example. Went over there on loan, they agreed a fee to make it permanent in that loan deal, the loan was very successful with Yobo performing very well, but when it came to making it permanent they all of a sudden wanted to pay a hell of a lot less. Shit like that is a regular occurrence and they’re often more trouble than they’re worth. Even getting Tosun here was a bit of a piss take. Newty82
Ah well, good luck to him. Still young so has plenty to go at. Just obviously didn't have enough to make it here. Or we just don't have a use for him...he'll not be the only midfielder to leave. Knows how to play a good ball though...
Palfy
A bit gutted it didn’t work out for him here after seeing his clips I had high hopes for him, never mind good luck to him and we move on. Next please. Romey 1878

nogs
One of those players who was never going to handle the pace and physicality of the PL. Remember Aquilani? He may do very well in Germany. Put this one down to Koeman being clueless.

Sibdane
It was the type of goal we thought he'd be scoring for us too: got forward and into the box at just the right time to put it away.
EFC-Paul
I really hope it works out for him always seemed a proper professional and at another time under different circumstances we may have had a player on our hands Romey 1878, Matt and MikeO

Think that says more about his teammates not providing him with the ball. Lots of good movement went unnoticed. For me he created things and saw opportunities that went over the head of the rest of the team all the time, if he'd have had better players around him he'd have got way more than two England caps. Sibdane
He was very involved in the build-up as well. He may not have worked for us, but I still feel he is a good player.

I agree with that Mike, not in his decision making but I always thought Bily could have been a very good player under say a Martinez type
