JoeQuince
Wearing the wrong colour top if he's serious... He may as well be wearing a sign that says "I lick Sir Bobby's boots." Ugh. Unbelievable. Piss off, traitor!!! (That was definitely sarcasm)

rubecula
this quote at the end sums it up for me: "He remains one of the most marketable players in England. Everton don't have anyone who comes close."

Quinn31
This one largely depends on what type of wages he's on for me. If we're keeping him on a 200-300k/week Man U wage, then no thanks.
Riscon
Question is, how regular will he play? If we also get Gylfi Sigurosson, surely he will still warm the bench more often than not?
Shukes
I don't mind if the money is on a wage or a transfer. As long as it's the best deal.
Hafnia
Liverpool fans having a laugh at us... hmmm.... they are laughing at the money we spent on pickford, Keane, klaasen.... top and bottom is they can't stand to see us spending money on players. Romey 1878
I hope your wife has hidden anything you can self harm with I'm not really frothing at the mouth tbh. I don't want him here, I've made that clear, but I'm going to trust Koeman and Walsh because they seem to be making good choices.

I thought you were asking if I'd been Haffe'd . Anyway, we've got another £60m now, so I'm finding it hard to give a shit about Rooney! Romey 1878
There's too much negativity on here let Koeman do his job. Just remember we need as many players as possible we'll be challenging on 4 fronts many games to come. There's actually very little.
Paddock
I honestly don't think there is much of it- there's caution, apprehension, worry it'll go tits up on us which is understandable after years of drought.

Bailey
You dont lose the ability to pass the ball or to pick a pass. What you can lose is your confidence, most often from having a manager that doesnt believe in you. Like the past couple of years. A few weeks at Everton could change that. Is he the player he was a few years ago? No but he is deffo worth buying as long as he isnt asking for 350k a week. No that's true, it's all about desire. Since his first 4 years at United he has mellowed season on season. He has got sloppy, he hasn't been showing that passion. The question is whether coming back will relight that passion. I can see the argument for but I worry he is past the point of no return. I would like to see the aggressive, swearing at refs, pissed off for being subbed/benched even granny shagging if that's what it takes If we get that Rooney he will be worth every penny. Aidan
So did everyone forget when he kissed the United badge? Or spouted a load of shite in his book about Moyes? 6 months ago (when the possibility of him returning was shy) half of the people on this forum didnt want him at Everton. He was "past it" and not the right choice to take us forward. As soon as he's potentially going to sign people all of a sudden want him to "come home". Get a grip fickle fans. I certainly won't be supporting him, blue shirt or not. I've got too much integrity to. Id like to think any real fans of the club wouldn't disrespect the club like he did if they moved on to develop their career.

markjazzbassist
don't want him here, surely don't want him here on 150k a week. if he's to come 99k or less for me. a bench player doesn't deserve more than that.
