Btay
We just need to stick within 3 until the last game.
markjazzbassist
so are Leicester allowed to win the champions league now ☺ no. if they win CL we lose a Europa spot only get 2. means united and 5th. holystove
Aidan
We just need to stick within 3 until the last game. That's it. As long as we stay within 3 and have a better GD (which naturally we should if they drop so many points) it could set up for a very exciting game. MikeO
no. if they win CL we lose a Europa spot only get 2. means united and 5th. But if we overtake Arsenal United will be 5th at worst which means 6th will be fine. holystove
StevO
Arsenal are the team to be chasing now! Almost relegation form at the moment.
Btay
I'd actually love so much for us to get 6th, Leicester to win champs league and Arsenal not get any Europe! But I'd happily just take 6th. Potentially exciting end to the season.
Btay
Also, I think there's 34 days until they play us - in which they have 9 games ( cup semi included ) which is a game just under every 4 days. Despite their extra games I genuinely believe it's advantage us. Leicester, Tottenham and United all in a row before they play us.
Paddock
I think Arsenal will come calling for Koeman if Wenger goes and I think he'll go as well.
Aidan
I think Arsenal will come calling for Koeman if Wenger goes and I think he'll go as well. Can't see it myself. There's a big project on here which he knows more about and Arsenal is a sinking ship. Why would he leave for a club that will likely finish 1 place above us, with a lack of financial ambition and when their richest shareholder could potentially switch to Evertons board? London Blue
Can't see it myself. There's a big project on here which he knows more about and Arsenal is a sinking ship. Why would he leave for a club that will likely finish 1 place above us, with a lack of financial ambition and when their richest shareholder could potentially switch to Evertons board? Agree, talk down hear in gooner land was that Koeman was already slotted to replace Wenger, he must have known this when he left to join us. The way Arsenal are set up by the board is to qualify for the Champs league, not to win the title, I'm not saying they don't go out to win, but the board only puts enough money in to achieve the top four place. If he goes Koeman will know that he will not have the resources he has here, and I would argue we have a better squad than Arse with more money to spend. If Koeman goes it will be to Barca. Guest rusty747
Let's just keep winning the next game and see where it takes us. I fancy us to finish above at least one of Man U or Arsenal and possibly both. Man U have some very difficult games on their run in.

Agreed but then it puts the onus on us having to get sixth or better which I'd rather have seven still qualify and not have to worry if arsenal picks up form or we start to lose form Edited April 11, 2017 by markjazzbassist

Still remains incredibly unlikely but it's so refreshing to be in April and have something to play for after the past two seasons... First prayer answered, thank you CP. Many more needed. Sibdane
Honestly, we should be winning all of our remaining games bar maybe Chelsea. I would normally be weary of Arsenal, but they are in complete meltdown mode at the moment. I only wish we were playing them next to get them out of the way while they're slumping. MikeO
Arsenal have still got to play United, Spurs, Leicester and us along with away games at Southampton and Stoke. All losable on the evidence of Monday, keep winning ourselves and it could be close. Romey 1878, Sibdane and markjazzbassist

markjazzbassist
Atletico win which is good for us. 14 shots, 3 on goal compared to Leicester 5 shots 0 on goal. The thing in Atletico favor is Leicester will have to attack at home, and no one sits back and counters better than Atletico. very happy with that result. holystove
Aidan
Arsenal and United are the ones to catch, with the fixture list they have they are both catchable. It'll take a lot of hard work and luck, but let's not write it off yet. Aim high, and you'll always get further than if you settled for mediocrity. markjazzbassist

holystove
United with a tough run from now until the end too, Matt. If they keep drawing we can definitely catch them. Easiest path to CL for ManU is through Europa League.. maybe they just wont focus that much on EPL anymore.
