c1982
It's also madness that Gerry isn't on the bench at least (assuming he isn't injured). There are no other game changers on that bench. I think there could be some substance in the rumours that he's going.
MikeO
Tough on Mori and Davis as I though they deserved a start, especially Mori, why change a back 4 that kept a clean sheet? I wonder if Deulofeu not in the squad means he is defiantly going in Jan? My thought too.
Hafnia
Davies should be playing.
Bailey
I think there could be some substance in the rumours that he's going. Goes against what Koeman said in his press conference yesterday. I don't think he has in the squad in one of our previous games too.

I wonder if Deulofeu not in the squad means he is defiantly going in Jan? He's changed from a back 5 vs Leicester to a 4 today. I think Williams and Jagielka are the best pair in a 2 at the moment. I like Holgate and Mori in a 3 though.

Bailey
I think there could be some substance in the rumours that he's going. Further to my other reply he wasn't in the squad for the derby either. I think it's mad, who is going to influence the game more from wide, Gerry, DCL or Lennon? Koeman clearly doesn't rate him which is a shame.
Shy_Talk
If we are leading well enough on 60 minutes I fully expect Calv and Davies to get a half hours run.

JoeQuince
Davies should be playing. Couldn't agree more. We look best with legs in midfield. Keeps us from dropping too deep and creating massive gaps between defense and attack. And, Barry mostly plays it backwards and looks like he'd rather be part of the backline than in midfield. chalkpie
Holgate and Davies, perfect game for them, but no.
Newty82
Can't really complain too much about the line up. It's as good as we have at the moment. On paper, it's a nicely balanced line up. I think if Mirallas and Valencia are on song, they'll offer plenty of support for Lukaku and distract the Hull defence to Lukaku's advantage. Barry can sit back a bit, with the raw energy coming from Gana and Barkley. A few youngsters on the bench too. Would like to see Davies and also see Calvert-Lewin get to play in his more natural position, as his cameos out wide have been a bit 'meh'. This team should do the job. But only if they remember that a game of footy is for 90 minutes!
London Blue
He's changed from a back 5 vs Leicester to a 4 today. I think Williams and Jagielka are the best pair in a 2 at the moment. I like Holgate and Mori in a 3 though. That's a good point, but I agree with others that Jags and William look shaky as a CB pairing, Williams is the natural leader but Jags is captain which creates indecision. Plus Jags has been very poor the last two matches. Whether Koeman thinks he wants to keep Mori fresh for the Southampton game I don't know. rubecula
If the game is going well expect Davies to come on. If it is average and we are in front Holgate will appear. Injuries will of course negate this prediction. If we are losing .... Christ alone knows what will happen.
Palfy
I've stopped trying to work out what's going on in Koeman's head when makes his selections, let's hope he knows. rubecula

Bailey
He is just terrible. Talks out of his arse. He was talking about Barkley moaning that he only has two assists, ignoring that he has created the most chances despite not even playing every game. He said something earlier that was equally as ignorant too.
Bailey
In fact he just said that Rom needs to start scoring goals when others don't deed him... didn't watch the Leicester game then did you Thierry!
