nyblue23
The pressing aspect of this probably explains the thinking behind the lineup, but still, what the hell?http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11671/10689548/ronald-koeman-everton-is-a-big-project-one-summer-is-not-enough
Bailey
I don't mind 433 as long as the wingers are more like inside forwards and a lot closer to Lukaku than they normally are. We can be really aggressive in centre midfield with Gana and McCarthy regaining possession a lot. The last thing I want to see is McCarthy playing wide. Elston Gunnn
Maybe Gana will be expected both to play further up the pitch -- so as to draw a penalty like last week -- and also be expected to be all over the pitch -- as per usual. Gotta exhaust him before he's off to AFCON.

Was in shock there for a moment.
Hafnia
Barry will be left of the 3 with gana central and mccarthy right.

Bailey
https://twitter.com/nsno/status/807550977775718400 Haha that is the worry! At least if we do have a genuine 3 pronged attack we have more chance of picking up the second ball.
johnh
Telegraph Sport had Cleverley in the starting eleven (and it didn't say 'probable') so anything without him is OK by me. nyblue23
nogs
I only caught the very end of Koeman's interview on Sky... what was he saying? Pundits making out like he was talking about bringing youth through? Well, Ronald... where are they??
nyblue23
I'm just hoping that Barkley's absence is to get his head straight. Take him out of the firing line and let him just start enjoying football again. Our big problem is that Barry is the only player at the moment who can pass a ball successfully. Probably will see Barkley from the bench once McCarthy has run them about a bit. McCarthy getting game time to put him in the shop window perhaps. Don't really think Koeman is in a position to start anyone without the intent of picking up a win at this point.
Palfy
Here we go lads everything crossed even me nuts, just hope we don't play to defensively, doesn't suit us. Jesus shiting myself.
JoeQuince
Looks like McCarthy is that number 10 we've been crying out for...
Bill
Watford are a bit like us, one clean sheet in 11 games, so it will probably end up 2-2.
Bailey
In defence we are playing 424... not sure what we are doing in attack other than getting forward as quickly as possible!
Elston Gunnn
McCarthy will a failed basic pass there. Frustrating, our passing overall.

Bailey
Great ball from Barry but that's shocking defending from Watford. Good sharp movement from Lukaku though.
