nogs
Hart has issues upstairs imo. Very talented but just looks like a man putting far too much pressure on himself and struggling as a result. I'd prefer Butland.

Hart is a much better keeper than Howard ever was Pete, it's all about opinions obviously but I doubt many would class Hart and Howard as equal. Hafnia
He's a top goal keeper. I've seen him have awesome games and the odd mistake. He will improve us dramatically. Big voice, good kicking, good shot stopper. Â All good.

c1982
I've been really impressed with Portugal's keeper Rui Patricio. Comes for crosses confidently and seems a good shot stopper too. Sure I read that Man U had him lined up before they decided to sign De Gea.
Cornish Steve
Robles for me: a good young keeper with experience in both the Prem and Europe. The grass always looks greener, as they say.

Bailey
Hart is by no means perfect but would be a no brainer for me.
Newty82
Yep. Gone a bit downhill in recent years but better than anything else we have. A good character too.
Bailey
One of the papers has reported a £40mil deal hahaha  I wish I could get paid to make up such rubbish! Edited August 13, 2016 by Bailey
Paddock
Can't see this happening tbh, defo have him though. Massive upgrade on what we have.
pete0
I'd rather play Robles. Hart wouldn't start in the Prem of he wasn't English.

London Blue
He is the third best keeper in the league, he has gone stale at city and for us would be a massive improvement.

Genuinely don't think he'd be in the prem if he was not a native.

EFC-Paul
I think Steklenburg will be a decent keeper if we are stuck with him but if Hart was a possibility I'd have him without a second thought  His clangers are jumped on more than anyone else's by the media due to City and more so England being in the spotlight. He's a very commanding keeper having him and Williams in the same side would be great for the other lads imo
pete0
If we had Hart in goal today we'd be moaning about getting beat. No way would be have made them big saves.
StevO
Yet the keeper who only got a loan move to Southampton because Forster got injured did? They were great saves today, but how anyone can think Hart is not better than what we have is crazy to me.
Bailey
I would have expected most keepers in the league to make those saves today. Then again I would have thought that about Bales free kick against Wales!

Look at the likes of Nicky Butt at Newcastle, sometimes being English and at a favored club carries players way above their individual ability. c1982
Look at the likes of Nicky Butt at Newcastle, sometimes being English and at a favored club carries players way above their individual ability. Nicky Butt was very important to a very successful Man Utd team for years. If anything he was underrated.  On Hart, he's a top keeper and he's a leader. We need both. £40m is far too steep - at half of that I'd be delighted. Best case scenario would be a loan to buy.

The point was how he done away from the better teammates and favourable referee decisions. He's not even the best English keeper.
