I guess we have a team project that could again become competitive. Not a real dynamic exciting manager though.
Gwlad
Sounds to me as if he has been sounded out. Only other Prem may be Southampton if Koeman goes.

I mentioned this a few weeks ago, it definitely sounds as though he's pointing the finger our way I'd be very happy with him tbh big name managed at the highest level and won silverware

smeghead1
This all depends on how much say Kenwright has on proceedings in my opinion. If he has a big say I can see him sticking with Martinez as I think he's as stubborn. If it's Moshiri I can see this or something similar happening a true statement of intent. There were shouts for Moyes head when we finished 17th and he wasn't sacked so if that's anything to go by let's hope Moshiri has the deciding vote. Hafnia
Looks like Martinez's job is ring fenced unlike kings dock.
Chach
If we have any more performances like yesterday his position is untenable. Romey 1878
Shukes
So Moshiri is trying to get rid of him but Kenright is battling to keep him? Wish I knew where to get all this inside info like you guys. I have literally only saw Moshiri speak once since joining us.
smeghead1
If we have any more performances like yesterday his position is untenable. The Derby for me made his job untenable I never watched the game yesterday but by all accounts it was just as bad. The only difference being and let's be honest about it the 2 games of the season you don't want humiliating in more than any others are those. After that performance I was done with him until then I kind of hoped we may turn it around then that happened. To me that was unforgivable. I wonder if he had pinned all his hopes on the fa cup said to the players were nowhere in the league save everything for wembley and they have the only problem being they can't turn it back on again. London Blue
This is Everton, we will let him finish the season and sack him after the last game. I imagine, hope, prey that a replacement who is not Moyes, Hughes, O'Niell has been approached and can take over asap. The fact that nobody from the board has come out and backed him speaks volumes, to quote General Browning their "silence is thunderous"
Gwlad
I'm hoping for Pellegrini. The big name that we want and he wants another challenge....and challenge we are at the moment!

MikeO
Yes please!!! Lost the Dutch championship by not beating the team second from bottom today. Just saying. I'll get the "de Boer out" banners into the planning stage. Matt, Chach and chicagoblue
Makis
I'm not too excited about FDB. His style has some parallels with RM: http://outsideoftheboot.com/2015/07/05/tactical-philosophy-frank-de-boer/

Hafnia
My philosophy is simple... get someone else in - if they aren't up to scratch despite doing full due dilligence then get rid and go again. Apply to all facets of the club and get out of this apathetic mediocre mentality that's destroying the name of Everton. smeghead1
"Mediocre mentality" kinda hits the nail on the head mate, sick of hearing punching above our weight and the latest we have the 9th highest salary in the league like that makes everything okay! johnh
I have posted this before but whoever we get needs to have a hard edge. Some of our players have had it too easy and are taking advantage. We need someone who can give them a kick up the proverbial.
Paddock
De Boer will take no shit that's for sure but has he the right mentality for the prem? It's agamvle. Everyone seems to want Moyrinho , they're absolutely mad if they think he'll come to us.
