StevO
We didn't get any reasons, just that they asked him not to do any press. I would speculate that the press and fans attitude towards him won't be so great at the moment. I don't look forward to the press conference on Friday. Shukes
He's not going anywhere. I can just feel it now. He is going to win Saturday and then BK is going to come out in support of his long term plans and goals.
msloan78
De Boer or Pellegrini would be my first choice. Moyes would be a huge step backward for me, as much as I respect everything that he achieved with us... No ta!

Sibdane
If there is a dramatic turn-around in the last three games, then fair enough. If he stays I really hope it gets sorted. I would love to look back on these times as just a small chip in the Everton dynasty of the future, but anything short of a spectacular run of form starting now until next Christmas should have him sacked. London Blue
Given Bill's respect for and admiration of Martinez I have no doubt he would have come out and given him the clubs total and unwavering backing. The fact he has not is I believe due to Morishi wanting to choose a new manager. On the Pellegrini front, I have a suspicion he may move to Arsenal, as I think Wenger may go. Kankurette
There's not much of Bob on the website. He's not in the Everton TV intro either - wasn't he originally in the middle of it, but now he's been replaced by Jags? Maybe I'm spending too much time on GOT - the Martinez thread there is over 2000 pages now - but it is a bit sus.

A turn around in three games after one good and two shite seasons wont change my opinion that he's simply not good enough in the slightest Look at what getting shut of Nigel Pearson did for Leicester after a momentous turnaround, he needs to be replaced at the end of the season at the latest all this Christmas and January malarkey is just prolonging a period of mediocrity Edited April 27, 2016 by EFC-Paul markjazzbassist

Makis
How would the club get decent players if Martinez is still manager in the summer? Where's the lure? Edited April 27, 2016 by Makis markjazzbassist

gethinO
Pellegrini down to evens in the bookies (who are rarely wrong). I don't know how I'd feel about that one. Yes he's managed big clubs and won titles but he's 62 isn't he? I would prefer someone younger however I'd have him over Moyes any day. smeghead1
Pellegrini would attract a better class of player than Moyes or Martinez so id take him over those 2 any day. As for his age SAF was winning allsorts of titles at that tender age. markjazzbassist

Age is fairly irrelevant to me it's not like they need to lace up and stand in Heynckes Wenger Hiddink Scolari Ferguson to name a few all still or did manage at the highest level etc

MikeO
That's my new favourite vid aha. Bit sad that some parent has sent his kid up to talk that way (presumably copying his dad). Would never dream of doing it myself; if you want to complain fine, don't use an infant to get your message across. Embarrassing.
