Cornish Steve
Looks like Robles will get his chance tomorrow since Howard is injured. Given more game time, I suspect that Robles will do better than most predict.

Great opportunity for the lad to step up and prove a lot wrong. Feel free to do so.

Exactly. I'm happy for Joel he won't be pressured and knows he will have time to prove himself. If he does well it could be the undoing of Howard, not a bad thing either. I'm rooting for Robles, I hope he shows that fa cup form! pete0

Newty82
Agree. But I won't be holding my breath. I know. But with a run of games rather than the odd periodic appearance? Who knows.
Brett Angel
I know. But with a run of games rather than the odd periodic appearance? Who knows. Brad jones is one of the worst keepers I've seen yet Liverpool went three unbeaten with him in goal. It's the defense that need to give the lad confidence. Matt
Best of luck Joel. I've defended him so far, this run of games will be a good opportunity to see if he's really got what it takes but has made some blunders, or that his good performances at Wigan were flukes and he's actually just not good enough

Romey 1878
http://www.fourfourtwo.com/au/news/howard-boost-everton Not much of a boost when you look at how many goals we've conceded directly because of him.

Not even sure he should get his place straight back given the way Joe's performed in the last few games. Matt

I'll be pretty annoyed when it happens. I'm a firm believer in a startling spot being earned and Joel's earned it. Matt

Matt
Feel he would be a big loss all round. He's been here for years and his personality would be a big miss in the dressing room. Not to mention the marketing opportunities we can't take advantage of I'd rather keep him, I don't see is spending a lot on a second keeper and despite his blips he's pretty solid overall. Really don't see any via replacements either. Dream world, use the Catalan connection and get Ter Stegen on loan for 2 years
