Romey 1878
But now they're winning . They're usually on the end of stats like that, so I'm sure they'll take it!
markjazzbassist
they played a full strength lineup so let's hope they rotate for our match or their starters are tired.

Romey 1878
I've just read that we've only won 9 of our last 27 home games . So maybe it's a good thing this is an away game!

percy
Even though Arsenal had around 30% possesion, they were superb when they had the ball, thier confidence will be sky high. Hope sanchez is rested. Lee Mason is the ref for the game ,shithead a pen is due

nyblue23
Would love to see Howard Galloway, Stones, Jags, Coleman McCarthy, Cleverley Gery, Barkley, Mirallas Lukaku But I'm sure one of either Kone or Naismith will be involved, Cleverley will start out left instead of Mirallas and Barry will again be in midfield. Guest rusty747
When Barry has a good game, he is very good. But there is some inconsistency in his game now as he clocks up the miles. Iagree that it would be a good game to start Mirallas. He hopefully feels he has something to prove and should be fresh and sharp. Is Mo injured or could he start instead of Barry? Barry usually plays well against Arsenal and we need to contain Arse's midfield,so I think he will do well. markjazzbassist

He didn't play the international matches for Bosnia. Barry will be solid, Gibson would be nice too he's no stranger to a tackle.

Besic's still out another week or two I believe. Agree that Barry has showed some fine form in a few games earlier on, but he's been very poor in the last couple matches. McCarthy hasn't been great either, but with the distance those holding mids cover each game, Martinez can't expect to get the best out of them when they're starting every single match. After an emotional and Champions League campaign saving win against Bayern, maybe they'll come out flat and concede early.
chalkpie
Actually kind of hoping for that sort of attitude out of Arsenal tomorrow. After an emotional and Champions League campaign saving win against Bayern, maybe they'll come out flat and concede early. What's interesting is that most of these freaks openly admit that Everton is not gonna be easy - realizing that we will be hungry after the Man U debacle coupled with a possible overconfidence/complacency after the Bayern upset. Not gonna be easy for either team, but if we don't make blatant fuck-ups like Jag's horrifying pass to nobody in blue, etc and we stay sharp and full of passion and energy, we have a legitimate chance. We haven't beat these asses since 1996, but remember if you're playing roulette and only play red - eventually black is gonna pop up so don't bet your house on it. Go Black! Romey 1878
Happy with that. Slightly baffled as to why he's willing to put such an attacking line-up away from home against Arsenal, but sends us defensive at home to the shite and United though!
