Mogsy
Get him in the senior squad!! After Saturdays performance he should be starting instead of jimmy mac if Barry isn't available
Hafnia
if he isn't going to play 45+ for first team then yes deffo play him in under 23's. Looks a little bit weighty I think - probably filling out. Looks a top prospect. We want to see more of him.
Bailey
He should be 4th in line through the middle behind Barry, Gueye and Jimmy. Given that Jimmy has always needed games to get back to his best then Davies should have had more or a chance by now.
Aidan
I don't see it as a risk to play him over Macca and Clev. We know what we have to lose with those two, we dont know what we have to lose with Davies.
Romey 1878
Impressed again last night. He added a lot more dynamism than Barry had been up until that point. Looks to have far more forward-thinking to his game which is what we are crying out for in the middle of the park. Keep building his minutes up, perhaps start him against Leicester in the cup. We look like we have a player on our hands but he needs to be handled carefully.

He shouldn't be thrown right in just yet in my opinion - he does give the ball away a lot, something more senior players (including Barkley) will get berated for but he's always looking forward and gets us working at a higher tempo. We need to sign a more mature/established version of Davies in this window and give Davies cameos and the odd start - he could be a 1st team regular come next season. MC11
Always worrying when a kid has a bonce like that! Looks a decent player but hopefully he doesn't turn out to be a spice boy want away!
Finn balor
Ive watched him with a few non Everton fans and they're like whose this kid? Always wants the ball always looking for a forward pass. Not afraid to take a yellow when needed and liked that he had a go at the linesman when his shirt got pulled for a borderline pen
Hafnia
Hes got attitude. He needs to play - simple as that. Bright, always thinking forward. Nice feet.
Bailey
Yeh I thought he did very well, showed a bit of inexperience in a couple of situations but that is obviously to be expected. The future is bright for him.
London Blue
He has played well when he come on for us, not phased by playing in the first team, composed on and off the ball, positive passing and a good tackle. Must start ahead of Barry now and will get the chance once Gana goes to ACON.

markjazzbassist
Great start and I love the hair. Lots of energy and great passer. Decent tackler (one area that he could work more on) but I think he could be a quality player for us.
Bailey
Really impressed me today. Clear signs of inexperience here and there but he never panicked and got stuck in. He has a lot of quality on the ball too.
Romey 1878
I thought he struggled to get involved for long periods of time tbh.
Sibdane
I thought he struggled to get involved for long periods of time tbh.I thought he played it safe for the most part, which I'm okay with at this point. I enjoyed seeing the amount of pressure he applied when SOU was on the ball.

Matt
It was a Gana-esq performance in my opinion, with a little more creativity thrown on top
Newty82
I was blown away by him tonight! See my MOTM vote for the reasons! Always interesting how fans can see things so differently.

Shukes
Great energy and so nice to see a player turn and run past players ..which he did so many times today. Also a good assist for Lukaku. Can't really ask for more.
MC11
Played well in patches. Only word to describe him without the ball though is "erratic". MikeO
Newty82
Was just going to say that after reading through the MOTM thread . I think, sometimes, the thing is that players like him on days like today don't get fully appreciated for the work they do that actually allows the likes of Barkley, Mirrallas etc to express themselves more and find more space. Tbf, I was watching out for him all game long coz I was interested to see how he'd do starting, and the conclusion I came to was that he's not ready for it. Shukes
Only criticism I could have is that he sometimes let his willingness to impress get the better of him. Still one of the best on the pitch though and better than what we have had recently.
