JoeQuince
Nice to see us playing with purpose now. I'd like to see us run up the score and gain a little confidence. Matt
Romey 1878
Sounds like the players are playing with freedom. Something that wasn't the case last season.

JoeQuince
We need to slow this down a bit. All over the place. Bit of pinball play. Lukaku doing some good work. Besic just pulled up :/

Romey 1878
It is Swindon.... We played a few sides who were well below our level last season, and we played with fear.
c1982
McAleny is killing it. 2-0 Would love it if he could push his way into the fold this season - it's easy to write a youngster off at 20 if he's not got in and around the 1st team but players like Osman and Ryan Mason show that not all players are ready at 18-21. Btay
Agree on the cleverly shout, moves the ball along quickly. Ossie is class. Kev doesnt look like someone who is pushing a move. Rom showing some skill here and there as well

JoeQuince
I'm liking the look of Cleverley. Been handy and quick with his use of the ball. He's composed defensively and doesn't ball chase, which our midfielders tend to do. Browning has been really good today, too.
JoeQuince
Almost an amazing goal from Lukaku there. I'd like to see him bossing these defenders a bit more.
Matt
only 45 mins preseason but Cleverley looks like a missing piece of the Roberto puzzle.

Matt
Browning has been solid. Between him and Galloway, looks like we've got 2 decent back up CBs

Btay
4-0Kev 2 goalsRom 1 goalConnor 1 goalThink it was a very very good friendly for us against a Swindon team that tried to play good tidy football and made us work.2 young boys at the back Galloway and Browning huge positive, Browning is our new Distin - rapid as.Gerry was sharp, will only get sharper.2nd half we dominated - Conner McAleny was hugely impressive, Cleverley was tidy. Kev played well as well as Rom.Only negative was Besic pulling up short. Matt

Think how martinez tries to play Naisy or Barkley out wide - he looks that sort of midfielder in the nasri sort of mould. Mind you, i havent seen alot of him, but he looks a good prospect, hopefully he kicks on. Rom also got 2 assists today.
Romey 1878
I reckon this pre-season could be a fight between Browning and Galloway to decide one of the back-up CB spots, with the loser going out on loan.

Btay
Would you say Kone is an out and striker?... Exactly . hahahah, i would say he is meant to be :dont know: Although he has some talent for breaking up scoring opportunities, we could try him at CB.
