markjazzbassist
vidal to bayern gathering steam. it would sure help to lessen the blow of schweini leaving. read today it's between 30m and 45m for fee, or it might be a swap and cash with gotze heading to juve. he's really fallen off after that WC winner. Lowensda
The talk of Remy going to Palace, could put Palace as 'ones to watch' in my opinion. Not European level but tough opposition, that's for sure. Like the business they're doing and previously done.

Matt
BREAKING: DELPH HAVING CITY MEDICAL Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph is currently having a medical at Manchester City. Errrr....
markjazzbassist
Errrr.... yeah it's comical. i'm thinking maybe he wanted to do right by villa so he signed a bigger deal with a hefty buyout clause to helpout villa, and just laid low for a week and now the real transfer is on. that or the lad is bi-polar
Matt
Did he sign a new contract?
markjazzbassist
Did he sign a new contract? sorry matt losing my mind, all the transfers are blurring together and i'm confusing this with someone else. what i meant to say was that he's probably leaving now that liverpool has activated the benteke release clause. previously he heard sherwood say beneteke's not going anywhere so he pledged his allegiance. but now he's off.+
Lowensda
Maybe he thought that Villa had a good opportunity to do something this year, by keeping the squad and cracking on. The big sell of Benteke's put him off? Basically what Mark said.

c1982
Delph has made himself look a real tool but the fact still remains that he has made Villa £8m rather than leaving for free, which he could have done this summer. If he had just signed and kept his mouth shut - none of this loyalty bull-spout then actually many Villa fans would be singing his praises right now. I don't think the club have helped with the big deal they made about it in Jan - the half time announcent etc.

Hafnia
They will have a solid team if rodgers doesn't get all over technical and ruin it. Benteke will get 20+ premier goals. markjazzbassist

markjazzbassist
Still not top four for me. as an evertonian they'll always be considered a non-league team to me, not even fit to play in the pub leagues, but i can't deny the talent they have. Scored 19 Prem goals in 34 games for a team that finished 15th. hes had one big injury. That's it. Edited July 17, 2015 by Hafnia

Hafnia
but 1 in 2 means nothing, right? In the prem over 88 games for a side averaging 14th in the league over that time? I'd say 1 in 2 is a very good stat. Moreso he's a bloody good lone striker. Lazy bastard at times but bullies defenders big time.
