Paddock
Why are we always linked with players that clubs like Norwich, Leicester, Watford, Sunderland etc are linked with. No disrespect to those clubs but we should be getting linked with a better caliber of player.

c1982
On a free, in a heartbeat. He's had a good season at Celtic after not such a good spell at Stoke but he's still young and missed a lot of football with his illness - definitely worth a punt. Offer Kone around for £1-2m and give Guidetti his wages and Lukaku his squad number.

Quinn31
I think he's one who will never be worth his hype. Think he will have a top career in a second tier league or be a middle-of-the-road player in Spain, Italy, England.

I would prefer a potentially very good young player on a free (obviously wages/sign on) to put pressure on Lukaku rather than Kone. Beckford came and did okay for us on a free and we managed to get £6m(?) for him so it'd be risk free in my opinion.

This for me also He's likely to be on fairly low wages and does have the potential to be a good player who without any serious problems injury wise would turn us a tidy profit in the worst case scenario

Matt
4m for te record. JG has had a couple of chances to prove his potential and never set the world alight. 2 seasons ago I would've been excited, now it's just good business

MarcBell
Vastly overrated. Scored 15 goals for celtic, however leigh griffiths scored 20 so doesn't exactly reflect how good he is. Loved by the fans until his "goals in scotland don't matter remarks" Wouldn't be over excited if he signed....
captainbeaker
won't City be due compensation? He can score goals but he needs to keep mouth quiet, always saying something in the papers.

Peter H
Guidetti available again since Celta Vigo signed Rossi. Malaga have already made an offer. This guy would be perfect backup for Lukaku. He is a fantastic finisher.
