Shukes
Naismith for having an average game. Still worked hard and tried. Rest of the team were pretty much playing like a team in 11th position.
Romey 1878
Rom. Probably the only one to improve in the second half. I'd prefer it if he didn't make me shit my pants with his penalty taking though
Toffee_in_LA
Naismith I guess for working hard and the only one to look half decent in the first half. Also drew our penalty. Not a fan of anyone really though

Bearveton
More typical no idea Everton fans. Naismith was on the bench 6 straight games, Everton won 5 out of 6. Comes on, throws the balance completely out of the team but, well, he ran around with no idea what he was doing, give him the man of the match. Need to change this backwards thinking mentality. Wonder why we are 11th with fans with no idea like this.

Shukes
No one said he was the reason we won or lost a match, just recognised that he at least put sone effort in, played a gew decent through balls and earnt a penalty. I just didn't see any other player be effective in any way...other than Lukaku for a ten min spell and the subs.
Shukes
More typical Everton fans ..... Naismith =2 votes Lukaku =4 votes. 4 = more than 2 that means Lukaku is MoM ;-)

MikeO
Strange one Mike as you seem to hold the TT player of the season as gospel. I take it as representative of the opinions of the people on here, because it is. It's not gospel because opinions aren't "gospel" by definition. How does that have anything to do with how the team play on the pitch? We're reacting to it, not dictating it . Don't understand your point. holystove and Matt
Bearveton
Lakaku 4 Naismith 2... How Naismith would get one is the problem. And as for the comment about 'how does a lack of football intelligence equate to where Everton are on the table...' its about knowing what you are looking for. If we as a supporter group are satisfied with hard runners who try hard, then we will struggle and wonder why?? So many theories as to why this year has been poor. Europe, chopping and changing, Howard, the defence early, etc etc. If you simply cant see that Naismith is not up to this standard of football, either follow something else or change your name to Roberto. Cause that clueless twat also cant see it.
Shukes
But you must realise it's just your opinion? So many others rate him, look at how hos fellow professionals rate him. The thing with Naismith is that he is just am honest hard working player. Because of this people don't really notice his worth. An example...how lo.g have we been screaming to have a player play a vertical ball behind the defence for someone to run onto this season? Naismith played two cracking first time balls behind the backline for Lennon to run onto...and what credit did he get? None because it was Naismith. If Mirralas did it then it would be shouted about. Lukaku had a ten minute spell on the second half. Naismith was easily the best player in the first half and although faded in the second...still put a shift in and did nothing wrong. Who else on the pitch did anything of note? Exactly...No one. So due to this the votes are split between lukaku abd Naismith. If we could replace Naismith for a playmaker...i would do it in a heart beat. But while he is here and playing, I will support him and treat him with the same rules and judgement as the rest of the team.
Shukes
And he also played consistently last season.....where we finished in Europe remember? So by your reasoning is the reason we are doing so bad....because Naismith hasn't been utilised to his full potential?
Bearveton
The stats are... Naismith starts: Everton about 6 out of 26 Naismith doesnt start: Everton about 5 out of 9. Let you work out the percentages...
Shukes
I'm not naive enough to even try to work it out. To blame one player is ridiculous....can't believe you even posted that. Quick delete it before anyone reads it.
