Toffee_in_LA
3 million? Isn't that what we just got for Eto'o. Another keeper would be nice but I would put another winger, CB and even striker ahead of getting a new GK. Then again, that's what I said when we signed Stones, what do I know

Louis
I'm bringing you back in. He's 24 and a full international with European experience, not some 16 year old from Dumbarton who has little chance of making an impact.

He's 24 and a full international with European experience, not some 16 year old from Dumbarton who has little chance of making an impact. Jan Mucha was as full international, had played in a World Cup and wasn't some 16 year old from Dumbarton either, and he achieved what exactly? Number 2's and below fall into oblivion at Everton. It's like the TT triangle. Matt
Louis
Mucha was only ever brought in to be a backup, I think this is different as Howard will likely be leaving (although he has a contract that expires in 2018). Nyland at least has a chance of competing with Joel to be first choice.

Makis
Stanek was brought as a prospect. I don't think anyone expected him to fight for a place in the first team soon. He's still only 18.

Interested in hearing what the US guys feel about this. I know everyone on here have invested too much in Everton to ever stop supporting the team but how will Howard leaving effect our US fan base? Popular Post markjazzbassist
Interested in hearing what the US guys feel about this. I know everyone on here have invested too much in Everton to ever stop supporting the team but how will Howard leaving effect our US fan base? I'm sure to some degree it will. The fans who have fallen in love with blue will stay but maybe some of the casuals will go. As an American I want him gone. Get some value while you still can and sell him to MLS. It's for the betterment of the team which is all I care about: Joel looks better every match. Peter H
I know T-How is super popular at home so im sure it will have an effect but like I said, you guys have invested too much to leave. Just hope most have invested too much. We sure need those dollars

c1982
Molde were in the Europa qualifying rounds, presuming he played in these games, would that cup tie him? If so, my Howard to MLS comment wouldn't be likely, until the summer anyway.
Peter H
Probably the same way you felt when we sold Linderoth and Alexandersson. Was worse with Limpar. But i supported Everton long before he came. But its a good example, i hardly know anyone that supports Everton in Sweden. They had a fan base in the 80's (i lived in England until 94) but there is not that many Swedes that support Everton now. Its always been Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham. Chelsea are snapping up a lot of the young guys now. Same with Manchester City. Swedish Toffees are growing somewhat and have done so for a few years now due to some good seasons. Same old Rumourama. You know, I'm considering setting up my own football rumours website. It seems so easy to make believe. No sources, quotes, anything, needed. Make a fortune from advertising space. Well, couple of quid.
