Connor-2009
One of my mates who is deeply in love with Everton ( season ticket holder , going to wembley ) told me that were in for Arron Lennon . Jesse_Wray
Competition for Pienaar? Pienaar has pretty much secured the left wing, and, as far as I can see, Lennon is just a right winger - not much of a left boot. So he'd actually be competition for Osman and Arteta. The Regulator
no more short arse midfielders We need another Fellaini-sized purchase to be honest, fed up of having one of the shortest squads in the league...

aaron
Aarons went out of fashion long ago OI! I think Lennon has the best bloody first name in football! Before this season I would have laughed and said he can fuck right off but this season he has been quite good but i cant see this happening at all. jamiemaher85
A good player, not a great player. If he could learn to cross then he'd be leathal. However, there will be no truth in this what-so-ever. Spurs would not let him go, at least not unless we paid a huge huge price. This story is a non-starter for me. marcopaulo
hes rapid he'd be great but i think they'd want a few bob for him as he's had a decent season. we do have a small midfield but i'd rather a fast small player came in rather than another slow tall one. we need someone to put the crosses in we already have the people get on the end of them. They got him for nearly nothing when he was at Leeds United. I think that he would cost too much for the impact that he would deliever. Can't see this one happing (or ever being discussed)
Johnny Bryant
i'd rather sign bently than lennon.. we need a decent crosser of the ball down the wing and he is that
Guest rusty747
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/everton-line-up-aaron-lennon-4944420 Wants to come to Goodison according to the Mirror. Stoke and Hull also want him but he would apparently prefer Goodison. Fee would be about £7million. Spurs happy to let him go. Possibility of loan until end of season with option or promise to buy at the end of the season. Not sure how I feel about it at that price. I used to really rate him but he cant get into Spurs side. On the other hand we are crying out for pace out wide and he certainly ticks that box. Imagine Besic and McCarthy holding, Lennon, Nais or Ross and Mirallas ahead with Rom up front. duncanmckenzieismagic
I would have him, we definitely could do with his pace
jofanon
Yes please. A type of player we don't have here and he needs to restart his career. If that means McGeady will piss off then all the better
Romey 1878
For some reason I thought he was in his 30's now, he seems to have been around forever! Always thought of him as a headless chicken tbh. Pace to burn but not much end product - his crosses usually either go over everyone's head or just go out of play. Guest rusty747
If we can get him and Marshall in January and a quality cb in July then I think we might be able to kick on next season.

MC11
Couple of seasons ago I'd have loved this. But he's obviously on the decline and as Romey said his final ball has always been shit!
MikeO
Unsure, not totally against for the relatively short term but £7m is a bit steep as he'd have little/no sell-on value; half that and I'd think about it. Matt
Guest rusty747
I agree its a bit of a gamble but 30 odd years ago so were Peter Reid and Andy Gray.

markjazzbassist
The loan to buy for me. Maybe we can talk them down some to 4-5m if we take him on loan for the rest of the year.
