inertia8
This would be immense! Provided Lando comes back in the same form as his first stint and recent WC form . Still, the pace and running at players was awesome , not to mention the corners... this will make me depressed if it turns out to be rubbish! holystove
This would be immense! Provided Lando comes back in the same form as his first stint and recent WC form . I'm a bit afraid about that one .. how long has it been since Donovan has had some sort of offseason?

lilpyrokid951
I'm a bit afraid about that one .. how long has it been since Donovan has had some sort of offseason? he had a six week holiday right before he came to us in january. about the same length most of our players get between the end of the season and preseason right? MikeO
chelsea aside, our first team is as good as any1 elses in the league if not better Don't disagree with that. If we could go through the season with zero injuries we could win the league. But that won't happen.

duncanmckenzieismagic
As was said elsewhere, how are we meant to convince Arteta & Piennar that the club is still moving forward if we cant even afford to bring in Landon Donovan? Romey 1878
I've said it before, but our boarda backing of Moyes (if you can call it that) is embarrassing. A team like Stoke have a bigger budget than we do . On another note, I can't get on NSNO, and haven't been able to for the past few days. Another point; most of these players aren't exactly young. Arteta's 27/28, Pienaar's 28, Cahill's 30. We need to be bringing players in who are going to slot into their places, there's no point doing it once they're gone because those new players will need time to adjust. Our ability to forward think is non-existent with the way things are.
Romey 1878
http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/2010/08/01/moyes-donovan-deal-unlikely "All we've done is spend £1m on Magaye Gueye so far. Jermaine Beckford and Jan Mucha were free, so we've spent no money by Premier League standards and will probably be the ones who spend the least this season." And we'll have got some of that back from selling Ruddy and Jukebox. Like I said; embarrassing <_<.
