Guest Nikica
It's still early in the tournament, but they've not been impressive at all and have at least four points more than they deserve. But I guess you could say the same for Argentina too, amongst others. Russia should have had a penalty and Kokorin should have put away that sitter. Guest Nikica
get a chance in a plate? To be fair to the boy his movement and positioning was good for the goal, whereas Lukaku looked lethargic the whole game. Hafnia
Has my opinion on lukaku started to hit home at all? the lad should have the attitude and fire of Origi but plays with the attitude of ibrahimovic. Sorry romelu, you are not convincing me to change my view on you.

zequist
South Korea v Algeria not the most attractive game on the face of it but this is brilliant; three nil Algeria. Puts a bit of a different spin on how hard Belgium had to work to get past the Foxes. Africa's coming back strong after a slow start to this tournament. Nigeria, Ivory Coast, and Algeria will all be in strong positions to advance heading into the last fixtures of the group stage, and even Ghana's not out of it yet. Between them and the CONCACAF sides, there's been a lot to like in this tournament if you're a "root for the underdog" person like me. MikeO
4-1 now. Can't decide who's the most toe curlingly embarrassing, Clarke Carlisle doing the co-commentary or Andros Townsend doing the "expert" summary.

markjazzbassist
Fabian Johnson playing well. don't worry he's german-american so you don't have to feel dirty about liking him. just got signed by monchengladbach after playing a number of years for hoffenheim. very talented guy, plays LB, RB and LM/Winger. Better on attack and in the midfield for sure, but our RB position is weak and we needed cover against Ronaldo, Asomaoh, and Ozil/Gotze, so that's where he's playing for us.
