Strange but i think its been a case of too many midfielders & I think when we got him DM was probably hoping it would come good & he'd be a squad player but now we've got loads he's letting him moochoff!! mad 1 normally not enough players now too many lol!! Louis
I reckon he's gone oop Barnsley way to get used the 'English Style' of football and to get some games under his belt.. Coincidentally Moyes brother was Chairman of Barnsleys not long ago.
aaron
it will do the lad good to get some games under his belt, must be a months loan incase moyes needs him back for back up for europe.
Josh Berno
I think a loan is just what Da Silva needs maybe he can come back from it and try and take carsleys place
Bill
Yeah but you'd have thought he would loan him out to Wolves or Charlton, not fookin Barnsley. :o after a couple of games at Barnsley i can see him wanting to go home.

dixie_efc
I think it's a wise move, we have a strong midfield and after watching him during pre-season, I can't say that he'd warrant a first team place.
Bill
Yeah i agree, but fookin Barnsley ffs, he might be better off playing for our Reserves.
dixie_efc
Yeah i agree, but fookin Barnsley ffs, he might be better off playing for our Reserves. Jay Bernard
LOL Wouldn't look good in a RS shirt! lol quick off the mark there mate . Its indeed a funny decision by Moyes but i guess better teams were not willing to take the risk on loaning him. I can see potential in him but hes gonna have to work hard to even try getting a regular bench place. I bet you Barnsley have never had a Brazilian anywhere near them in their entire history. Jay Bernard
It seems he has only played one game but apparantly he has already opened eyes in the league and set up Barnsley's goal. On the 606 the Tyke's fans are raving about him. Perhaps he may cut it after all? http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A26606036
FairWooney
don't get too excited, Beattie's already scored 4 in the championship!!!
c1982
I went west brom - barnsley the other week - da silva didn't look interested for the best part of the game - barnsley were dire and to be fair he was 1 of 3 players that looked half decent - but I wouldn't be getting too excited!!! - check out barnsley's number 55 though - he's fooking massively built - about 5"0 high but 7"0 wide!!!
