Steve_E
Everyone played well but went with James McCarthy.
thoward18
Everyone was brilliant today. Lukaku played a key role in the first goal and put in an amazing strike for the second one. That was the separation the team needed.
Peter H
Could have picked almost anyone. Would have liked Martinez as an option. Lukaku on the right gave us the first two goals. Went for McCarthy in the end. Didnt make a mistake all day and bossed the midfield

Dalziel Kane
Hard to ascertain who was most deserving of matchday honors today by way of radio commentary but Barkley and Baines stood out especially. Went in the end with Ross Barkley. Caused the opposition significant problems once again.
Brett Angel
McCarthy for me. Didn't put a foot wrong all game and covered Coleman really well when he was out of position.
markjazzbassist
Everyone should get MOTM, what a team performance! Baines for me though, his pass to setup the first goal was sublime, and his passing the rest of the match was fantastic. after all the lahm stuff he was noticeably looking inside more than just passing on the flank, and it was fantastic. great defensive work as well. rubecula
Newty82
I went with Barkley. I had Baines, McCarthy and Lukaku in my head...with a bit of Naisy. But Barkley stood out for me. He looked at his best today. Touches, passing, strength, effort. Really hard to pick though. This was the most complete team performance we have had for a while. rubecula
Toffee_in_LA
I seriously want to give everyone on the squad MOTM. Besides the first 5-10 mins of the 2nd half (where Mirallas and Stones played with the ball in the back), we bossed the entire game. So darn happy at the moment. At the end of the day, went with Lukaku for not just his goal and shot in the 1st one, but they way he was utilized on the right as well as his hold up play were magnificent. I still remember being let down by his first touch at the beginning of the season but ever since he came back from injury and rediscovered his form, his link up play and first touches have been great! Seriously on cloud nine right now, it's going to be a good day here in the states markjazzbassist
rubecula
Difficult to chose a single player .... but this time for very good reasons, they were all great. I went for Coleman, immense performance at the back, and great attacking, some of his play was amazing.
Romey 1878
Very hard to pick a MOTM today but I'm going with Barry. Could've also gone with any from Distin, McCarthy, Barkley, Naismith, Lukaku as well though.
Newty82
This is going to be one of the most varied MOTM ever!!!!
Lowensda
Barry for me. Controlled the game. Didn't lose composure. Settled the team. Kept things simple. Brilliant.
Droobie
I voted Naismith... usually I think he's better as an impact sub, but he did very well today!
CMorley91
Would love to give it to every last one of them, starting with Bobby!! Went for McCarthy, himself and Barry shut down Cazorla entirely, only noticed he was there when Coleman was embarrassing him. McCarthy just shades it for his cover on the right flank though, Lukaku out that side meant Coleman needed the extra help and every time McCarthy was across quickly. Still almost feels harsh on the rest of the lads to single out one performance though
Blue 250
Brilliant from all, but for me Baines stood out, did a great job at the back and looked dangerous every time he crossed the half way line.
Bill
Gave it to Naismith, upsets defenders with his intelligent runs and played very well. Could have been any one of Half a Dozen, What about a mention for Roberto Martinez for his team changes and formations which all seem to work, his tactical awareness borders on genius. We have a plan A, plan B, and plan C, great stuff.
markjazzbassist
FYI Naismith was given MOTM at Goodison. Very humble lad watched the video on the team website.
c1982
Rom for me - masterstroke from Martinez to play him from the right.
Cornish Steve
Rom for me - masterstroke from Martinez to play him from the right. It seemed very odd at the time, but clearly it worked a treat. Romey 1878
marcopaulo
stones...just so impressed with the lad...that 40 yard run and slide tackle which got us a goal kick couple with his all round calmness....you really would think he had been playing there for 10 years... he excites me as much as barkley
BlueBlood81
Could have voted for any one of the boys but went with Ross. Loved it when he put Arteta on his arse!
Shukes
Baines for me. Controlled the game for large parts. His balls were so dangerous today, the way he fizzed balls in front of the defenders was so dangerous and the main reason they were scared to put a boot on them. Defenders hate those balls, one wrong touch and it's an own goal. His through ball for Naisy which nearly set a goal up was brilliant, as was his ball for Lukaku which resulted I'm the first goal. Whatever Rm did with him this week has had a positive effect.
verreauxi
Lukaku for me. Set up the first goal, got the second, kept their defense distracted. But the midfield was also amazing. Not a poor performance out there.
Zoo
Was between Lukaku & Barkley for me but went with Lukaku as he scored. It could have been anyone though, I think it's the first time that I'd give the whole team a 10/10 rating.
Bailey
I still cant single out one player! Really impressed by all of them but at the same time, I still think they can play better.
Matt
Naismith - absolute terrier Shout out to the other ten and RM, schooled the old masters of possession, attractive football. Beaming with pride
