duncanmckenzieismagic
It makes perfect sense if he's replaced. If he's not then it's a stupid decision to sell him. It depends who we replace him with. Naismith has a proven track record of scoring important goals in the Premiership and we would definitely miss that. Also selling him to one of our closest rivals like Norwich sounds like a bad idea to me

Also selling him to one of our closest rivals like Norwich sounds like a bad idea to me I do agree and Martinez has a hard job if he does sell him. My overriding thought, though, is that Martinez simply won't sign a replacement at all and that would probably see me explode.

Romey 1878
Should've been on the bench ahead of Osman. The fact he wasn't tells me he'll shortly be playing for a new side.
Finn balor
Yeah Osman was the worst player I'd have seen to make an impact against that Spurs team. So slow it's embarrassing

Finn balor
I get the I inalogy but it's not true in this case. When a sloth goes past ossie he is done. He offers nothing defensively . He should be nowhere near the team

rubecula
I am still wondering on Roberto's thought processes, but then again I am not a football manager. Naisy has a few good games left in him IMO
markjazzbassist
No doubt rubes but he's so far back in the depth chart that 8m is more useful for us than a false 9 who's not a winger or out and out striker.
London Blue
Good player who deserves to be playing first team football, that's not going to happen hear as we don't play a system that suits him. Good man as well and wish him well at Norwich, thanks for the hatrick against Chelski!!
Romey 1878
He has to be replaced though. He's a great finisher and is always going to pop up with goals. Put it this way; if Rom has to miss any games, at any point ever, I'd be so much more confident with Naismith playing up front and getting us goals than I would with Kone. duncanmckenzieismagic
Hafnia
As good as a one on one finisher I've seen at the club. Takes his time and out cools the keeper. Matt

markjazzbassist
http://www.norwich.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=430203 classic everton. 7m for a bench player who never sees time and we'll keep him and run that value down to 4m by summer. bravo. Cornish Steve
If someone does reveal details of an ongoing negotiation (not very professional, but it seems to happen all the time these days), it's usually worth ignoring them. If I received a penny for every time a customer initially said "no", I'd be rich.

Thing is as we enter the 2nd half of the season and in both cups, do you want the only back up to Lukaku to be Kone ! if we don't get a striker, that's the frightening thought. duncanmckenzieismagic

What's the use in having a second striker if they are never played? i'd rather him sold and RM get someone he wants and will play for Cup matches and the like. Leandro doesn't seem ready yet so maybe a young spainiard or frenchman.
