Newty82
Not 15mill good though? Think he has had a rough ride recently. Poor little bastard.
Cornish Steve
So who should we take in the United summer clearance sale? I'd consider Kagawa and Zaha. Sibdane
NYBlue
Unfortunately with the prior loan connection I can believe there is truth to this. 15M though? I'd have an issue with anything above 3M and that's only because he had a good spell under RM at Wigan.
NYBlue
So who should we take in the United summer clearance sale? I'd consider Kagawa and Zaha. I'd take Kagawa but he's likely to go back to Dortmund I think. Haven't been impressed by Zaha so I'd pass.
Romey 1878
For the love of fucking god, my Sunday has been ruined early on! Surely they've just missed the decimal point out of that fee? And even then it's probably a million too fucking much.

Brett Angel
Fuck me, it would be like having john Collins back. If they had to wear blinkers they'd be proper fucked.
MC11
Very similar to Osman in my opinion.
EFC-Paul
Very average player certainly not good enough to start for us in my eyes and never in a million years worth £15m! Another player that falls into the United hype bucket with Smalling Jones and co
Steve_E
I'd have him. Not for 15m though.
msloan78
Never worth £15m. Is he worth the same as McCarthy? Not in my eyes. Thanks, but offload your dogshit somewhere else please.
badaids
DIdn't he spendsome time at Wigan on loan, and didn't he do pretty well? Ferguson persevered with as well, and Robbie probably knows what he's getting. But he's been pure shite this season for Man Uts and ENgland, so a risky buy. Never worth 15mil. But I reckon a change might do him good, and I bet he's play for Robbie. Never pay more than 5mil for him, but maybe worth a punt.
MC11
We've got Gibson who's a much better option albeit always bloody injured! Edited March 30, 2014 by MiguelCotto
StevO
He's not going to be sold for £15m, they will probably get about £5m from maybe Swansea or West Brom.
johnh
Can't believe Cleverly got in the England squad. Never rated him. Take him on a 'free' as a squad player.
Matt
isnt he one of the players that excelled under Martinez?
marcopaulo
looked half decent in a poor side...wouldn't mind if he was 19 or summat but he'll be 25 before the start of next season..should be hitting his prime around about now
Bailey
Yeh Matt he was very good at Wigan, scoring more goals in 25 games for them that he has done in double that for Utd. At Wigan he played out wide to start with before moving more centrally, but still in attacking role as opposed to the deeper role he is being utilised in under Moyes and Fergie before that. There is no doubt that Cleverley is a good technical player and some of his passing and movement has shown that he has the footballing brain to go with that technical ability. When he first came onto the scene he showed these qualities and quite regularly too. I must admit I thought he was going to be right up there with the other young English midfield talent but since his first 6 or so months at Utd he has gradually become worse and worse and the way Moyes is utlising him now is probably stiffling him even more. At the right price, he would be a good addition to this squad. If we could get his confidence up, he will help the team create chances and whilst Im not sure how great of a finisher he is (did score 11 in 33 at Watford - or something similar), he hasnt looked a natural when I have seen him over the last couple of years. Bailey
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/manchester-united-tom-cleverleys-rise-1322569 Comments from Martinez back in 2012. Louis and Steve_E
Sibdane
I'd hate to read what people would say about Moyes if Cleverly came here and excelled under Martinez.
Louis
The Times' James Ducker says he's Martinez second highest priority signing (Lukaku is first). I've cancelled my subscription so can't provide details but on twitter he says: Link: http://www.twitter.com/DuckerTheTimes/status/458377387437473792 Everton will make a bid of about £8 million for Tom Cleverley, the Manchester United and England midfielder, at the end of the season. Roberto Martínez, the Everton manager, has identified Cleverley as one of his main summer transfer targets alongside Romelu Lukaku, the Belgium striker who is on loan at Goodison Park from Chelsea. http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/sport/football/premierleague/article4069135.ece
