JoeQuince
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2601297/MARTIN-SAMUEL-THE-DEBATE-Im-not-anti-Everton-Im-just-against-loan-foolish-paranoia-football-fans-never-ceases-amaze-me.html What a stupid fucker. Blaming the loan system for the inflated economics of football rather than blaming the inflated economics of football for the expansion of the loan system. The loan system helps to level the playing field in this league. Without it the gulf between the rich and poor clubs would become even more laughable. I hate when people see someone unexpectedly succeeding by following the rules and then claim there's something ethically wrong with the rules because they can't come to terms with reality. The ESPN article is pretty spot on though. Bailey and Toffee_in_LA
Guest Nikica
I hate Samuel as a writer. He's a clueless little-Englander whose articles are laced with condescending bollocks and sarcasm. He doesn't know anything about football and he's stealing a living. That article is further proof. And it's an interesting observation further down in the article that David Moyes's United have the best away record in the league because, when away from home, they can play his more conservative style of football. There may be an element of truth in that. Yeah, there's a school of thought which believes that. I subscribe to it too - away from home they can play more conservatively which suits Moyes to a tee. I'm pretty sure that as Moyes settles somewhat, their home record will be slightly better next season, but to offset that their away record will probably suffer too. I think they're in for some hard times if they keep Moyes as manager.
