Louis
He's bought a bargain hasn't he? $25million for the Franchise Stadium could be paid for by Miami taxpayers although they say they're going to pay for it themselves Doesn't have to pay player wages as they're paid by the league. On top of that he's brought in a Bolivian billionaire I'm hoping they call the club it Atlético Miami. The Miami mayor clearly doesn't know much about it though, he's called him David Beckman. http://www.mlssoccer.com/beckham-miami-announcement He's not very good at press answering questions. He was asked if Miami taxpayers are going to pay for the stadium, avoided Asked what he's going to do short and long-term to ensure the team's a success, he's given a long non-answer. The Guardian asks what'll happen if they can't build a stadium, avoided Hello magazine are there asking about his wife. :\
Lowensda
He'll make a killing. Don't be surprised if they're a top franchise in 5 years. His name alone will aid the build process. The name will be the next thing.
Guest blueboy122
I don't think he will be the brains behind the operation more the face of it. Incredible management team this guy has.
Guest Nikica
I don't think he will be the brains behind the operation more the face of it. Incredible management team this guy has. There are actually people out there who think this clown is the brains behind it all. Seriously I've seen them say it It's depressing that some people in this world actually think there's a correlation between intellect and wealth. Very shallow, materialistic individuals. People know my views on Beckham so no need for me to drone on in here. Suffice to say that whatever the man is like in private (and he may be a nice guy, who knows, although I don't have much time for tax dodging), what he stands for in public absolutely repulses me. Hafnia
Blimey the people who have managed this lad are genius's. He's a brand because of the way they have managed his talent in terms of off field marketing and the bandwagon just keeps rolling. He's on course for being the highest paid sportsman in the world.
