Louis
I found BT's games too, so a comparison can be made. http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/news/news/2013-14/jan/premier-league-live-uk-tv-fixtures-released-march-2014.html Team / Number of games televised Arsenal 3 Aston Villa 4 Chelsea 3 Everton 2 Fulham 1 Hull City 1 Liverpool 4 Manchester City 3 Manchester United 5 Newcastle United 1 Norwich City 1 Southampton 2 Stoke City 1 Sunderland 2 Tottenham Hotspur 4 West Bromwich Albion 1 West Ham United 2 Each time a game is televised it's worth approximately a million pounds (£980k) to the club. rubecula

verreauxi
So with these three new television broadcasts Everton receives an additional 12.7 million per broadcast...is that what this means?
markjazzbassist
well good for us, we need the money and it's great exposure. just miffed that villa gets more airtime than us, they weren't great last year and aren't great this year. i hope to see us get a lot more airtime next season. MikeO
So with these three new television broadcasts Everton receives an additional 12.7 million per broadcast...is that what this means? No, it means that come the end of March our total income from live games will be £12.7m (from thirteen matches) for the season up to that point. Irritating in the extreme that United still get more exposure (and money) than anyone else despite being a mid-table team; and how are Villa on TV more than us? Do we know how many games we build into out budget Louis?
Louis
I don't. Last season there were 14 games televised and that was considered low on the low side because we were chasing Europe. This year there are 16 more league games to be aired in the television contracts, so I imagine it'll be a bit higher than that.

rubecula
Yet again the media want to overlook us as much as possible. :shaking fist: When we win the league and get that money I want to see us refuse to be televised in the league. Not really
efc1111
Irritating that the rich clubs are receiving £10m more than us so far for televised games when we've been one of the most attractive and entertaining teams to watch Romey 1878
Matt
Irritating in the extreme that United still get more exposure (and money) than anyone else despite being a mid-table team; and how are Villa on TV more than us? dunno about Villa but understand Utd still being covered the most - best drama going, seeing the powerhouse of English football collapse. Plenty of people want to see it! Unfortunate that that takes priority over teams playing attractive football though Edited January 28, 2014 by Matt
Cornish Steve
Quite frankly, United's football is not fun to watch.
