Romey 1878
Mirallas. He's annoyed me for most of this season but he was brilliant tonight.
Mogsy
Naismith, two goals and ran around tirelessly! Fair play! Mirallas was great to.
markjazzbassist
Mirallas, he is great in the ross barkley position i thought naismith did well too.
Gwlad
Kev was immense but I'm giving it to Joel. First time in ages we have a 2nd goalkeeper who we can really rely on and I reckon he made some useful saves..
c1982
Mirallas was a constant threat - really enjoyed his performance tonight.
Blueherts
Bugger me that was cold! Can't give it to mirallas as his diving was OTT this evening....sort it out kev. Barry for me, another vintage display. Edited January 25, 2014 by Blueherts
Aidan
Some people were a bit nervy to begin with, with regards to RM chosen line-up, however yet again he has shown us he is no idiot. A good performance all round (as expected), with everyone putting in a good performance, although two or three stood out from the bunch - Naismith ran himself into the ground today and showed us why he's so much better in the centre of the pitch. Robles pulled off some decent saves and deserves credit for that because if we'd have conceded one earlier on in the game, as everyone knows, it could have been a different story. However, today I gave it to Mirallas. There is no doubting the flair and dribbling skills he posseses, but for me his biggest downfall is decision making. Today he wasn't always thinking about himself and capped off a fantastic performance. Lets continue this good form into the derby shall we?! And lets hope Oviedo gets better ASAP and this dosnt tint his potential that he holds for the team.
efc1111
A straight choice for me between Mirallas and Naismith, although there were so many good performances today. I was especially pleased to see Joel play confidently and make some good saves, which has probably settled everyone's nerves again after the goal he conceded against Southampton; great to see Hibbo back in the side and making some good tackles, showing his experience and even getting high up the pitch at times; McGeady impressed me with his skills and I was pleased to see him get the full 90 minutes under his belt; Naisy ran non-stop, was always alert to the through ball and his second finish in particular was nicely taken. But I vote for Mirallas who I thought was a revelation through the middle but popped up everywhere across the front line and - as Aiden says - his decision-making was much better. The flick and overhead kick to assist Heitinga's goal was a touch of class, and I was impressed with his work-rate throughout. We need him to repeat that on Tuesday. Hafnia
Naismith, mirallas was brilliant though. Naismith for keeping a cool head and working hard. Good lad, he gets some stick.
MC11
I went for Mirallas. The last 3 games he's been our best player. Was very impressed with Naismith upfront though. Link up was so much better than Lukaku's
msloan78
Mirallas... hands down. Naismith gets a mention though. Finished the 2 chances well, linked play up neatly for the most part and worked hard for the 90.
Dalziel Kane
Naismith got the vote for today. Scored half the games tally and while been largely disappointing up 'til now contributed today and put himself about. Robles also takes credit for one or two fine saves at cruical stages. Shukes
At a time when our playmakers are injured, we have needed someone to step up. A month ago I was calling for Mirralas to be dropped because of his seeming lack of effort and him not joining the fight. I think he has read my comments and listened. The last few weeks even when things haven't gone right he has still worked hard. Yesterday he did both and was Mom by a mile. Good to see Naisy got some credit for his efforts. BlueBlood81
Super Kev, great display and I hope he replicates it for the Derby. Fair play to Naisy as well, took his goals well and ran himself into the ground for the cause.
Sibdane
Went with Naismith, because he probably won't have many games where he receives positive recognition for his performance. Shout-out to Gueye for that well-taken goal. Does this mean we may see more of him?
